I think this might help, when you're printing smokebox doors, have them facing up instead of flat on the printing bed, it will look a little bit better and easier to sand smooth if you plan on sanding and painting your models. Also I love your edward and thomas models.

I think (as far as I can tell from the footage from 3:12) an issue is the drive wheels are too far apart, causing them to lock/derail

Tbh, this is a good model. The only thing I think that should change is the tender coupling. It looks like a huge gap but it looks great to me.
