hey Dave, don't the side panels of the board come off ? to make it easier to screw in the mods ? cheers.

It does. There are multiple videos where people complain about this, but you just take the handle and the feet off and the side pops right off.

Yup, that's what I used but it was a super tight fit between the unit and the side wall.
