I use Wordpress. For my wholesale shop I create products and hide them from the shop. Then I have a separate page where I list those items and they can check out like any other order. It’s fine for now. I may look into something else as I grow my product list.

When you said $80 a month I winced, but when doing the math, if you are seeing $2,000 a month in wholesale, that's only 4% of your wholesale income for website charges. At that point, you're losing more to credit card fees then you would be to hosting the website. So I suppose it makes a lot of sense to do something like that. I landed my first wholesale client last week, we're still hashing out details, so for me a wholesale website is not an option just yet, but I will be looking into it this year. I'm currently handling wholesale exactly like you used to, and have thought of creating a separate site as well. This was extremely helpful! Quick question on wholesale and shipping costs and delivery fees. I'm assuming the retailer is responsible for shipping fees when ordering? I noticed you added a $20 delivery fee. I don't currently charge, but the expectation is that I deliver. I feel like I've been short changing myself because it does take time, gas, etc. I probably should start adding a fee. Again, very helpful information. I appreciate it.

Typically the retailer pays shipping, and I consider delivery the same thing so you should definitely add some kind of “fee” for that!

Do you do any sort of credit checks did the net 30 customers

I only do payment terms after the first order. But I don’t run credit checks.

Do you require your wholesale customers to buy a minimum amount of orders to continue to be a wholesale client? For example ....I must do x amount of orders a year to maintain wholesale status.

I don’t have minimums like that, every year is different so I wouldn’t want to “loose” a customer by setting a total requirement.

1: I always charge for delivery, the retailer would pay shipping anyway and this still saves them money. 2: yes everything is connected so I can track my inventory!

Is there a reason why you opted for a separate form builder rather than building the borm in klaviyo? Also, do you have a separate Klaviyo account for wholesale only?

Not really a reason, I don’t actually use Klaviyo for wholesale right now. I’m sure that will change as it gets bigger though!
