Was a great video. I have been watching some of her videos and have found she is very informative on what she talked about. Hope you keep having her on. Also really like your videos. They have helped me out a lot as a new and novice candle maker. I started making candles to help with my PTSD. I also have kidney disease and suffer from depression and anxiety so thank you for the help. Have a safe trip and look forward to watching more of your videos.

Great video - I follow Bree and she is why I moved over to mostly using coconut wax - I use the coco-apricot blend and it is AMAZING !!!! I have found Bree shares it all - and this has really kept me on her channel. I will definitely need to try out some of the Black Tie Barn fragrance oils. And yes....more Bree would be amazing. I would love to get a double dose of her on your channel and on hers.

Thank You. I started with Coco-Apricot. 🐝 + Coco-Apricot is a dreamy blend. I do a 20-80 blend. I'm Lovin my blend! I had no idea when I started to get a better candle to do a blend. I learn so much from ya'll. Next is to create Hydra-Stone vessels. PS Wade I'm LOVIN your Fragrance Oils.

I was using Sozo essentials soy luxe blend wax. I was having nothing but sooting issues lately. I stumbled across Brie's video using Honey and Hive Titan 51104 blend! I absolutely love it! Smooth tops no matter what temp I pour at. I use LX wicks with this wax! I have excellent HT and CT. Thanks Brie. Also, thank you Wade I absolutely love your Fragrance oils! 😊

Thx for confirming my experience! I was baffled that I always have to wick down 1-2 sizes from the recommended wick, in order to get it right with this wax. I thought it was me, even though it’s clear that it’s what works best with the wax. I use all wooden wicks in my line and wicking down holds true in my experience.

Thanks for this useful video and all the helping content. I was wondering if someone mixes coconut wax and soy wax. How do you do it? Do you heat the waxes appart and then add the coconut wax to the soy wax or do you heat both together?

I just ordered coconut 83 after years of fighting with c6.😢 And wise words you'd Care to share? Its not arrived yet but I've been testing 464, ecosoya advanced and just started soy/coconut 454. Dismal results with the first two but ecosoya is the easiest wax to deal with, performs great, flawless look after burning. NO HOT THROW. Like none😂 how is that possible? I think bbq sauce wicked up would have better hot throw
@calafiacandleco6 ай бұрын
@@rebeccamueller8790 I hope you love the 83! Don't have too many wise words, as it's such an easy wax to work with! Just remember to use smaller wicks. Best of luck!

Great video! I use coco 83 and blend in beeswax. Wondering what you would recommend as the % ratio of coco to beeswax. I have been only adding 5% beeswax, but wondering if I need to be adding more? Would love more coconut wax content!

4:24 how much beeswax should you add into your coconut wax? And because the beeswax melts at a much lower temperature how do you heat it up if its mixed with coconut wax? Because Coconut wax needs to be melted at a much high temp...so im confused....how does that work???

5:30 what do they mean 8%? Im really super bad at math... Do they mean 8% out of 100%? Im a burnout .....you need to explain this part to me😂😂😂
@zzkc7862 ай бұрын
She means 8% of FO so if it’s 10 grams you take 8% of that which is 0.8 grams of FO for 10 grams of wax. Hope I didn’t confuse you more
@claytonjames47796 ай бұрын
In the video you mentioned how coconut "likes" To be much hotter than other waxes but you did not actually explain the science behind why that is.
@calafiacandleco6 ай бұрын
Hey there. It has to do with the nature of the wax. From my understanding, coconut waxes need to be heated hot to allow the molecules to fully open up, therefore allowing fragrance oil to bind more efficiently.
@AmberMoonLight222 ай бұрын
Yeah, anyone can get great glass adhesion and smooth tops with coconut if there’s paraffin in their wax…🙄

10% with velvet brew is to much, shoot galore
@BlackTieBarn6 ай бұрын
10% with nearly any oil is too much in my opinion. Fragrance really doesn't cause the soot as much as the wax/wick combo. :)
