Regarding Persil- Another You tuber mentioned Persil about a year ago. I’m in the US so had never heard of it. I did some research and it came to the US some where around 2005. Never seen it in my local supermarket but Amazon had it so I tried it and now have been using it for the past year. The #1 laundry detergent in the US is Tide. It always wins any soil/stain test to other detergents in the US . When Persil finally came to the US they did a test and Persil out performed Tide by a bit on stains. I’ve been very happy with it. I’ve only used the pods but they do show it comes in the large liquid bottle which is much cheaper per load. The thing about the pods is that it has the detergent and extra stain booster together. Josie had the triple pod which has detergent, stain booster and fabric softener. I don’t like to use fabric soften on all clothing or fabrics. It’s not god for some fabrics...Especially Towels! It makes them less absorbent. They do make the pods with just the detergent and stain booster which is what I use. If I can pass on any tips to anyone is the dryer is your worst enemy. It’s what fades and makes clothing look worn, plus wrinkles them. I pretty much hang everything but socks, Towels, old things, some blankets. If you just put your clothing in the dryer to fluff and steam them for 3-5 min and then lay them out over a rack, on a table or hang them you won’t have wrinkles and it keeps your clothing looking new. I even hang jeans.Keeps the denim from fading. They have racks that open up that you can lay clothing over. I love hanging my percale sheets. You get no wrinkles and you get that cool crisp feeling of your sheets. My mother did laundry this way so now I do and my family is very appreciative that their clothing has no wrinkles and looks Ike new so much longer. Also don’t wash shirts with jeans. You want to keep similar fabrics in the load together. Jeans or anything heavier material creates friction shirts, blouses. The friction basically is just adding extra wear and tear on the clothing, probably even more than just wearing it. I’m a laundry fanatic if you can’t tell...I’ll stop there though. Have a great day😊

Giirly Giirl in the UK and Ireland, we use outside clothes lines to dry our clothes. Better for the clothes and the environment. I know that doesn't happen much in the US and obviously it's difficult for those in apartments but it gives the clothes a lovely outdoor smell also

I never dry my clothes in a dryer either and do it the way you do - really is best
@lisamiddleton34756 жыл бұрын
I also hang dry almost all of my clothes. My sons and husband all do their own laundry (my sons are 21 and 23 but they’ve been doing their own laundry since age of 14 ish) They always ask me, “mom is the stuff in the washer hang dry?” Because they know better than to just toss moms laundry in the dryer lol

You seemed to have a super time with your babies...as for the flowers, since they have small stems you can put them in glass shallow bowls with water. They will float on top and look very pretty.

When it comes to the flowers cut very short you can get the floral green foam, wet it and stick them into the foam. Then place the foam in a colored, short vase. That way you can have little bouquets around your house.

Oh. I love Dorset. Both of my parents are from Weymouth (the most beautiful beach in my opinion). I spent lots of time at Portland and Chesil Beach too as a child. Love the tips for looking after your delicates too, very practical being able to use those little pods at such low temperatures. Looking lovely as always, Josie and little Dickens was scuh a superstar swimmer too! Your vlog was a real ray of sunshine! :-)

When you get a shipment with the short live blooms, just snip a little bit off the end of the stems and float them in bowls of water. You can put them all over the house!

As for your trip, a very beautiful place, you two seem like you enjoyed it. It's so nice that your hotel provided so many goodies for Dexter and Dickens. You are so funny the way you create a dialogue with them by the way! I do that with my cat all the time, never realized how cute and funny it sounds until I heard you do it... It was adorable how they went for a swim, especially when Dickie was still paddling when you help him :)

Wow looked like such a nice get away! That close up of Dickens oh my goodness so adorable , it's so sweet to see how much you love them like lil babies, and to see Charlie so affectionate to the dogs as well. May I ask, why you wear shoes in the water? Are the pebbles pointy? I'm in Australia and don't have to worry as it's always sand. 💕

As a Dorset girl, I hate to break this to you, but you weren't at Lulworth Cove. The bay behind Durdle Door is Man O'War Beach, it's visually distinctly different from Lulworth Cove, which is a further mile down the coast. Perhaps that's a good reason for you to staycate in the South West again some time ;) Glad you had a nice trip though.

Hello Josie! I was hoping you'd talk about your self tan situation :) As I mentioned in your video from Ibiza (I think), I decided to try Vita Liberata after seeing it on you. You mentioned it stains your clothes only when you don't wash it off. I did and it still stayed on my clothes a little bit in some places. I'm a total newbie with self tan, am I doing something wrong?
