11 years in and I use dr bronner but I still do acv rinses about every 3-4 months. I don’t spot clean because from my experience if it’s in one it’s in others. Acv rinses can leave you dry so start using rose water and aloe Vera juice with a oil in a mist bottle daily. Happy Locing
@ElizabethRosette4 жыл бұрын
Shania Harris-Brown wow 11 years!!! Nice! So far I have only a few of my locs had this. Not a on going problem for me. Must have been something I used. Rose water, aloe Vera and oil are staples for me and I use them regularly but not in a spray bottle anymore. Thanks for the recommendation, I did that when I had starter locs. Now I like to control the order that products are place in my low porosity hair and I can’t do that when everything is mixed. I naturally have dry hair so I choose not to do a acv rinse as often as you do. Doing this really helped in my case, especially because the others didn’t need it. Great comment, thanks for sharing.

I'm 5 years invested never used gel or edge control. But everybody makes choices that works for them.keep them clean aired out and wrapped oil and water. I don't squeeze in conditioner after washing I just apply it on the locs and rinse it off.

Omg. I feel you girl! I love your locs! I remember your baby locs! Im 3 years in. I gave up on edge control and gel because i see build up. Now I use oil and water. Slick it up and put on a scarf. Works like a charm for me. I hope your method works for me....
@BriiLaShay2 жыл бұрын
What oils do you use and how long do you leave the scarf on? I’m trying to figure out how to lay my edges down without gel because it’s seems to last only .2 seconds so it’s a waste
@MeMyself9842 жыл бұрын
@@BriiLaShay hey! I actually use hair grease! Oils were wrecking my scalp. I like isoplus with castor and coconut oil. Just wet your edges a little then apply a little grease all around and smooth. Leave your scarf on for at least 20 minutes. I do have fine baby hair tho. So if you need a gel there is a natural one with coconut oil as the main ingredient! It’s called ORS lock and twist gel. Purple top. White-ish color but dries clear, moisturizing, and no build up. Been using it since I was loose natural. Hope this helps 💕

Was attracted to this video bc of the fact that it’s 11:11 long. I see this number daily whether it’s on tv, outside, a clock, my phone, a video length. At 0:47-0:48 u can see something float down towards the screen. Not sure what u were going through during this time but I believe someone’s spirit was with you this day. Orbs of energy often appear on camera but are usually missed if it’s not something you’re looking for. Your locs are beautiful & so are you. Blessings to you. 🙏

Best two things for build up: 1. Dr. Bronner's Hemp Peppermint Pure-Castile Soa ( dilute it!) 2. Neutrogena Shampoo Anti- Residue Formula Both can be found at Walmart or Target. I used to get buildup bad in the beginning of my locs journey and when I discovered these it help A LOT! 17 months loc'd today and no issues. I now only use Dr B. when I wash my and then I use a moisturizing conditioner.

The genuine african formula supergro hair gel doesn't cause build-up either. The ingredients are listed as Purified water, wild 🐝 🍯, coconut oil, west african shea butter, virgin olive oil, basil, safflower oil, 🍑 oil, 🍑 leaves extract, birch extract, coltsfoot extract, horsetail extract, calendula blossoms extract, cedarwood extract, rosemary extract, onion juice, vegetable proteins, biotin, allantoin, panthenol, natural glycerin, Na-PCA, vitamins A, B, C & E, natural preservatives, and vegetable aroma... Wax wont ruin them completely. But u should def switch to just the oil because wax will sit inside your locs and cause buildup with continued use.

there's always going to be people with negative or positive OPINIONS. Facts are neutral. Let the haters and lovers motivate you to do better but don't ever put yourself down in the process. You know you best; you determine your value which IMO every soul is priceless. Whoever calls someone else ugly is ugly inside and that is much more repelling than external "imperfections". However it is fact that we are ALL perfect imperfections because we have INFINITE potential and no boundaries. If you decode DNA, in every living thing part of it says "God eternal within" we are not God but God is us because HE IS ("I am) Health is beautiful. Self care shows you can care for others.
