How I Clean My Nail Art Brushes Using Gel Top Coat - Easy/Cheap Clean And Condition Nail Art Brushes

Hello Everyone! Today I wanted to share my easy nail art brush cleaning technique using topcoat! If you use Gel polish and products chances are you already have some lying around, so this is also an inexpensive cleaning option as well. Hope this helps, and as always ty so much for watching.

Omg you’re reminding me to wash my makeup brushes that I’ve had on my bathroom counter for like a month 😂 Cleaning any kind of brush is so important to have a clean finish. Glad I could help. For me this is the best way. I've never used brush cleaner because I was told it does more harm than good to the hairs.

This is great info, I didn’t know you could clean brushes with topcoat. I thought the topcoat would harden the bristles. I appreciate that your brushes are cleaned so thoroughly!

If it were regular top coat it would make then hard. But because gel topcoat requires a uv light to dry as long as you don't expose them to direct uv light you are all good

Only gel top coat. If you leave reg top coat on then they will be ruined.

This video was really helpful. My acrylic brush is so dry and hard to the touch even though I steeped it in acetone. I'll use this gel polish / top coat method instead.

For your acrylic brush I recommend after cleaning to brush a small amount of your cuticle oil in it! I've never used top coat for my acrylic brush only my art brushes so I cannot guarantee that's a good idea lol. Thank you so much for watching.

I always learn something new on your channel and videos you post, I thought one should use acetone, I guess that makes the brushes hard? The tweezer is a brilliant idea as well.. When you keep your brushes clean and well maintained, they definitely will lost longer

I dont like to use acetone because one i hate the smell, and for some of the synthetic haired brushes, acetone can cause them to start becoming frizzy. Usually if its Kolinsky they are ok, but I stll prefer to do it this way, especially for the nail art brushes, that are usually synthetic.

I don't even want to know! Even though I only do my nails or the occasional friend I STILL use barbicide to sanitize my utensils, brushes and even my drill bits. And I use rubbing alcohol all through the actual application and manicure process. There are some nasty mean bacteria out there and I am NOT playing with all that lol.

Lol I need to do my toes period I have been slacking 🤦‍♀️ make sure if you're going to do this that you use gel top coat. If you use regular top coat it will just dry and ruin the brush.

Alot of my nail art brushes have synthetic hair and prolonged acetone or alcohol dries them out I think. They tend to get frizzy lol
