I had acne in HS and it cleared when I started contraceptives. I had 10 years of great skin, but then my situation changed & I came off birth control and my skin ERUPTED. Instead of a glow-up, I got a dim-down. I will be checking these products out. Thank you.

I have EXTREMELY oily skin, and have been getting a lot more pimples then normal lately. When I get pimples, they slowly get big over the course of about a week, then they fade for another week. Then a lot of them have been leaving some weird tiny red mark, that takes like over a month to go away. I am extremely frustrated with my skin right now. NOTHING IS WORKING!!! I’ve had a cluster of pimples on my forehead for WEEKS that just won’t go away 😭😭.currently having a breakdown in the bathroom. It’s so ugly and nothings working. I’ve tried multiple face washes, and wipes.

Ugh can relate so much to dry skin with hormonal acne the industry acts like we don't exist clindamycin made my skin physically hurt so bad I'd cry at night because I sleep on my stomach 🙃 I try falling asleep on my back but roll over and I'd wake up in so much pain. I eventually gave up and just started focusing in repairing my skin barrier so now it feels more hydrated but still dealing with the acne.
@pamylasworld

literally!!! i hate that it’s always acne prone/oily skin and the products typically associated with acne are to help with oil control. there’s so many of us who get pimples that are not caused by excessive oil production 😭😭 glad to hear the barrier repair system has been working for you!! it’s such a solid way to go 👍🏽

Ugh i have hormonal acne and I’m 30. It’s SO upsetting bc i don’t eat meat and I’ve cut out dairy, gluten and sugar. I eat tons of veggies cut down on processed foods and drink tons of water and It hasn’t gotten better! I’m like wtf do I eat to fix this. Ugh I’m also nervous to try ANOTHER product. :(

Try eating meat and eggs instead of veggies, the nutrients are far more bio available in meat. The fat in meat is essential to regulating your hormones.

totally understand. as i mentioned in the video hydration is needed for ALL skin types!! regardless of the products you choose to try keeping your skin hydrated will strengthen its protective barrier and allow it to fight off free radical damage and acne causing stressors to the skin. be patient to and visit a dermatologist about your acne!!

What’s a good face wash for hormonal acne? I think you mention cerve foaming acne wasn’t good for you right?
@pamylasworld
@pamylasworld 2 жыл бұрын
on its own, it wasn’t my favorite. i found that the wash wasn’t potent enough for me to see a visible difference after long term usage but i do still use it in my morning routine because of the clindamycin (benzoyl peroxide is needed to avoid antibacterial resistance). i would recommend a gentle non stripping cleanser and used a treatment product next in your routine, rather than in cleanser form

Are you implying the toner & serum cleared your face, not the tretinoin or clindamycin?
@pamylasworld
@pamylasworld 2 жыл бұрын
Hi there, no I’m not. As I showed from various clips of my skin, my prescription acne treatments took my skin along way and got rid of a majority of my acne. I did still consistently get smaller breakouts though around the time of my cycle. After adding in the toner and ampoule, I stopped getting those small breakouts too so I haven’t had any breakouts at all. Hope this helps clear some confusion!

@pamylasworld
@pamylasworld 2 жыл бұрын
I understand unfortunately there is a negative bias when it comes to sponsored videos. When it comes to sponsored products recommendations, I find it useful to see if the person recommending the products has continued using them regardless of a sponsorship. I have been using these products for months now and been recommending them without receiving payment because I genuinely love them and the results speak for themselves. I think using this approach may be helpful in verifying the validity of content creators when it comes to sponsorships! Hope this helps 😊
