Regarding Heps C ,people who have never used IV might not get this ,but the 1st time I was forced to take blood samples I wasn´t very optimistic ...at all. Best friend(s) dying of AIDS, Heps B, Heps Delta etc ...my behaviour was exactly theirs, if not even worse ... : -reckless sex with fellow feminine users ? Check !; Going over the top on the citric while cooking gear ? Check! Sharing needles ,all types of paraphernalia -specially late at night when it can be a nightmare to get works etc ? Check ! ...just "Check " everything really ... . When the nurse arrived with the results and told me I was only positive for Heps C , I swear I was ecstatic. I have been living with this rubbish for over 2 decades now (bad side effects .Worst being always knackered -all day, every day ) ...like Chris says ,treatment is ridiculously dear ...there is an old alternative which is cheaper but takes longer and is harsh (to say the least )...most my mates who went through it (Interferon ) were unable to complete it -all told me it felt like Chemotherapy with horrible side effects such as depression ,anhedonia etc, etc .... P.S. If you cook (almost everybody in Europe does this btw -if you do not add an acid and heat the mixture it simply won´t dissolve properly )gear with citric be very careful with the quantities you will use. I heard it from a GP that injecting citric not only ruins your veins but your liver too ...I, ( and others I know )´m the living proof of both claims.

I didn't know about the cotton, or water. I almost got into needles. A guy I caregived for was a H addict. I wasn't interested, at first. Another man I was close to was an H addict also. Found out later, that the 2nd man went to the guys motorhome, and threatened his life, if he ever found out the guy got me on needles. Probably saved my life. I hope to thank him one day...❤❤

Thankgod I never did share anything after 7 or 8 years of daily use I remained as clean as possible when using. Luckily never contacting anything during my using days. Also great that Hep C can be treated and cured now. I know many people who had it.

Bro, I'm so happy not too long after i started slamming dope they made it legal to buy rigs at the pharmacy. I remember having to cruise main south looking for works and it as $5 a pop. Sometimes they would try to sell you an old rig with a fucking old cigarette filter for a cap 😆. I had one girl buyy two old rigs off some Puerto 🇵🇷 guy that looked like he had HIV or something. for $5 he sold her two nasty rigs with a cigarette filter on one and a eraser from a #2 pencil ✏️ on the other one lol. She used them SMH. I forced her to bleach it though. One time in slc Utah i picked up a clean looking rig off the st, brought it home and bleached it and slammed the bag. I was a nervous wreck after thinking how stupid i had been. I got tested, and thank god i never once ever got hep c or hiv or anything at all. My Dr said i dodged a HUGE BULLET!

Damn bro that’s crazy, an old butt as a cap ? Just wondering how long ago was this ? I have always been able to buy rigs legally at any pharmacy, or get them from the needle exchange. But still, even being able to get them legally, I would still share quite a bit. You are definitely lucky you never caught anything, cuz like I said you can get it from water, cotton, spoons & cookers which the majority of people share. No idea of you still use or not, that’s not my business just be careful with it if you do 🙏🙏

@@Dopiates_ this was when i was 20 or 19 so probably around 99 or 00. They where not legal yet back then. And worcester didn't have any exchanges, you'd have to go to Boston and get some sort of id too.
