Very glad the surgery went well and I love all of these paintings. The grid is my favorite - I just love it when the tape is removed to reveal those beauties. The piece with the beads is very unique and the minimalist piece looks great in the frame.

When you are a creative, you have to create. I need to rest a lot, and keep my arm in the sling a lot, but my mind wants to forget I had surgery which wearing the sling keeps me out of trouble. THANK you for watching and commenting, that means so much

I liked the idea of painting over the blue tape before painting over all the grids. This way you would not be focusing on any one little painting trying to make sure it had a focal point, etc. because you really can't see where they are individually. I'll have to try this for myself. Hope you're on the mend soon.

I am healing daily!! If I do not overdo my arm!! which i tend to do. BUT, it was like a light bulb when I covered up the tape and saw the entire area white!!! It helped me, I hope it helps give you some inspiration too!!

Gosh, difficult to choose when you love them all for different reasons. I think the minimalistic one was possibly my least favorite. 😍

Hello Rene!! Minimalism is hard to create and sometimes hard to convey a true meaning, so I completely understand. I think the one where I put everything on it was relaxing and kept me out of trouble wanting to do larger paintings!! thank you so much for being a member and always supporting me

@@CherylWilsonArt I completely agree Cheryl. My biggest challenge is knowing at which point to stop. I love minimalist paintings and have even enjoyed doing a few textured Wabi Sabi paintings that have turned out nice, but they are not everyone's cuppa tea 🤭 I still had fun creating them 🤗

I had to actually look up Wabi sabi and here is what I learned: wabi-sabi describes a concept of finding perfection in that what is imperfect. It is a feeling that encourages harmony and serenity in what is uncomplicated and unassuming." I LOVE THAT TOO!!! I am sure there is much more to the meaning in an art form, but WOW!!! I will have to try some. I can imagine many might say some of my art paintings are imperfect.

Thank you. I DID use my left arm. What I was finding was the nerves waking up and it was a bit painful but it was actually soothing to move my arm BUT only for a limited time. THANK YOU for telling me to be gentle, I tend to overdo!!! There is this ulnar exercise where you move the arm from a bent position out and painting these was almost like that. BUT, I promise to rest a lot!!

What it the white marker pen called, Cheryl?

It is the Posca marker!! they are great. Only use on dry artwork or that tip will not work, but it is bright and a juicy marker!!
