It was because of your video last Nov that I downloaded and signed up for Moises. Absolutely love this software! Nothing else out there that can do what Moises does. I actually met with the developer last Dec and requested the ability to 'fine-tune' the songs by adjusting the pitch. They recently implemented that feature and it works PERFECTLY just by allowing the selection of 440Hz (or any other value). Moises is so very easy to use, and so incredibly helpful--I seriously can't recommend it enough!

I got the app after your first video and it turned out to be very helpful! I use it to get separate tracks from the live recordings of song ideas played at rehearsal. Then I import it in the daw to re record every instrument separately to create pre-productions. Game changer!

Question, please. I know Moises separates vocals from bass, drums, etc. I previously had a trio, which is now a duo, and we do oldies like Eagles, CSN&Y, Beatles, etc with one person singing lead, another singing 3rd part and the third singing top 5th. Does Moises separate the individual vocals, so one person could sing lead, the other the top-3rd, and let Moises add the top-5th? We're currently using Karaoke Version, but it just has "background vocals" lumped into one track. Thanks. Great video, by the way.
@LetsPlayAll2 ай бұрын
Thanks! No it can't do individual harmony parts yet, but it can do vocals and backing vocals into separate tracks in the pro version, it may do that in the premium and free versions too but not 100%

Thanks Matt. I've ust put it on my tablet. Very easy to use and upload songs(using google drive) I could well invest in a subscription because i like the continued "real time" chord info as the song is playing. Could be invaluable when the cold weather kicks back in.

Hi, love this, im thick when it comes to tech, but really want to incorporate backing tracks into our rock band. Is it possible to do the same as Karaoke Version, where you can isolate each guitar and keyboard part? And also separate lead and backing vocals? Looking to add some keyboards, backing vocals and possibly percussion to fatten up things live. Is this possible with Moises? Many thanks

@@ianchinn6586 yup in the pro versions you get more track separation models and they can now do guitars and keys and backing vocals etc

Also, a lot of guitar parts like intros have only guitar so nothing to go by to come in time with the band when they come in. One trick, import into audacity and iso the intro or breaks and save the file. Label it intro or break. Then, in your DAW import those as a separate file. when you record that way you can delete that file and when you play it back your part is in time and the original track is no more.
@LetsPlayAll Жыл бұрын
Or in Moises you can use the AI provided metronome track and count in functions ;-)

There is a fair bit to it, i'll have to do another vid on that. @@SaludRenal-z6j thanks! You can export the metronome track (possibly just in the paid version) but not the initial count in function. I’ll ask them about potentially adding that tho! But meantime you can use something like audacity to add an intro click - bit more of a faff but can do it

@MoisesAI Жыл бұрын
@@CuteCraftyThings Hey there, thanks for your feedback! The quality of the separation varies depending on the quality of the file. Uncompressed audio (like WAV) tends to work better than compressed one (like mp3). Separation accuracy also varies according to genre. We are working on fine-tuning our models to work better with a broader range of music genres, and you should expect updated models in the future.

Hello, if i use these stems to upload them in youtube for my Guitar tabs lesson, i will get strike, correct?
@LetsPlayAll8 ай бұрын
I think that depends on the cover, as a very small number of bands will give copyright strikes (i believe) - like the Eagles for example. But I use moises for all my covers on YT and you can't monetise the vid (as it quite rightly contains original copyright material), so any ad revenue would go to the copyright owners, but you don't get a strike and the vids can still be viewed. Hope that helps!
