Super cool app. I haven't used it to learn a song, but I can see the usefulness...mainly used them to create backing tracks since sometimes playing with one guitar (even with singing) you need those other elements to fill the space/time.

I've been using Moises for about a year, a German producer/guitarist friend recommended . It used to allow me to copy links direct from KZbin but not now but there are ways still to do it. I often use just the drum track when learning to sing and play if I prefer it de tuned. It's good .

Very interesting... I have an old JS10 from Boss which is quite good for recording ideas and also to try out Riffs with the a/b function, but with this kind of app it's easier to learn music parts...

@@TheGuitarGeek Most of the time I use a Boss Pocket GT and plug it (via Bluetooth) into my iPad. I found Amplitude to sound a bit harsh so I’m using Positive Grid Bias FX and Bias Amp and Overloud THU. If I bring my MacBook Pro with me on the road I can use the Neural DSP models that I have. On my iPad I also have ToneStack which isn’t too bad and the Nembrini apps Which are nice but I find them to be a bit noisy and I haven’t gotten any really good mid gain tones. High gain and low gain is about all they do well. Well, low gain is iffy to be honest. If Boss would’ve allowed me to record with the Pocket GT I probably would use that alone. The amp sounds are superior to anything else I have with the exception of the Neural DSP software.

Ths desktop app also can correct the pitch and bring the song to 440hz (or whatever value you need) when the recording pitch was slightly off, dut to difference reasons. Too bad, the iOS ans Android app doesn't have it.

Wave isolation... The music quality improved but it regress on other aspects! At the beginning when I bought the full version, you could copy and paste links from KZbin. They removed this feature for copyright reasons. Also it works with iTunes only for purchased songs, NOT IF YOU PAY FOR APPLE MUSIC STREAMING... then this tool only works for the few mp3's I own... Also their customer service is one of the worst, they don't answer questions or try to help customer to solve their issues at all.

I love the chord detection feature. Does it detect extended chords (dim, aug, 7th, 9th, etc)? Or just basic Maj and Min chords? I mean that alone is pretty freaking awesome but it would be great if it can catch the crazy chords too!

I love the idea of this app as a creative tool but the subscription service killed it for me. I just dont see why they cannot offer a paid for downloadable version. Just seems like a cash grab more than an investment into making the product better over time. I realize these things are not cheap to create or invest in but more companies are moving to this model and I dont see it being a better option than pure ownership. So I went to the website after clicking on your link. I registered...loaded in "Stardust" by Tony Mottola. Two tracks...bass and everything else. Useless this way. And, when guitar track is heavy low-mids...it is as loud as bass unless you completely squelch it which leaves me with only bass.

I discovered it on a Instagram ad a few weeks ago. I have an Android but my listening service is You Tube Music. I cannot seem to link it to that service. Maybe if i download my playlists? I will try that. For now, WAVE ISOLATION FOREVER!!!!! UPDATE::: downloading them did nothing since it is not actually saving on my phone, its only downloading to be played offline. Any suggestions? other than a complete shift to another platform?

You should be able to import local files as long as they’re visible to the file browser. I’m an iPhone user, so I don’t know exactly how the interface differs for android.
