do you have tips if I've already subdivided the plane and applied scale, in cycles view, and the plane remains flat when using the nodes you've used?

What were your settings to get the reflections to become so smooth. My "water pools" reflect very fuzzy and clouded and haven't been able to figure out how to fix. Great video! Fast but detailed!

I believe that’d just be the roughness value?

Dope man, love how simple the setup was. I'd recommend using adaptive sub d, that could save a lot of render time.

I have no idea where to find displacement and bump and I went through the material settings as instructed?
@GrimReaqer8768 ай бұрын
if you're using blender 3.4+ (idk how this applies to 2.8>) go to materials tab, scroll down to settings, and then surface. you might have to have your settings on cycles and experimental for this to work tho

Yo bro! 😎🖤 i tried two options... Ur better than max. Becouse ur options have very very many difirend options. Procedurial material but max have only one texture 🤣
@jbrashfx Жыл бұрын
Image textures definitely have their place! Procedural materials are more versatile in some ways, but less art directable generally. Max does amazing things with his. This is just an alternative option.
@rustamsafarov7017 Жыл бұрын
@@jbrashfx in the same version of yours, you can also add a rahnes map and albedo here too, and you can mix it too. just tried it and it turned out great

How to scale this up without ruining the effect
@jbrashfx Жыл бұрын
It’s procedural? As long as you’re using a procedural texture it should be infinitely scalable
