I’ve got waist length hair, love vintage hair, but don’t want to cut my hair rn. So it’s hard to find videos that actually work for long hair. So thank you so much for this!!!

I've done a "lazy set" for waves with a low twisted bun on each side of my head, or sometimes two on each side, but they don't always turn out right... and why didn't I think of curling the hair in each pigtail? Great efficiency hack!

I really liked your other lazy girl hair vids, so I know I will utilize these tips (especially when my asymmetrical bob grows out lol) Have you seen the Bletchley Circle? It's about 4 female ex government code breakers in post WWII England. It's sometimes creepy as they solve a horrific crime but nice dose of girl power. Also, the 40s/50s wardrobe is pretty dang awesome!

Have you ever watched Handmaid's Tale or Harlots? They are both on hulu I think and both are so good! Also me and my partner have pretty much watched all seasons of Ozark during quarantine and thats really good too!!! And f you've never watched Downton Abbey its a must and the creator Julian fellows just had a new series out Belgravia which was like only 6 episodes so far but really good!!! And also the first Penny Dreadful was 3 seasons and seriously like one of the best shows I've ever seen!! Sucks it ended it was sooooo good!!!

I really like your hair! I even brought a picture of you to my hairdresser 😂 I now have my hair cut in a similar way, and I would like to recreate this look but I was wondering if you have a link to the foam rollers you use? There are many different ones with mixed reviews and I have no idea which one to get, I live in the Netherlands but ordering from amazon is no problem 😊
@VickyBermudez4 жыл бұрын
Aw, thank you you are so sweet! I actually bought these at the Dollar Tree which is a discount store we have here and diyed the fabric part (I have a video). I hope you can find them!
@Mandy-qj4dd4 жыл бұрын
@@VickyBermudez Thank you! I just watched the video, very helpful :) What diameter are your foam rollers? Unfortunately Dollar Tree doesn't ship to the Netherlands but I was wondering what size you recommend: 2 cm , 2.5 cm , 2.8 cm , 3 cm or 4 cm? My hair is about the same length as yours or a little shorter. And do you recommend a paddle brush with boar bristles or plastic bristles? Thanks for your help!

Love this, love your videos, love you! I too have long hair and have yet to muster up the courage to try setting my curls overnight, but this I think I can try. Thank you! Also, idk what genre you're into, but I can't resist giving a book recommendation: The Probable Future by Alice Hoffman. Any book by her is good ;)

If the fantasy genre is your jam, I cannot recommend the book series Cradle by Will Wight enough. 10/10 for world design, boss fighting, character development, etc.

So...your hair is quite long! Unless one is comparing it to people who keep their hair tail bone length+? But those people are not common. I don't even remember the last time I saw somebody with hair that length outside of KZbin? I just tried to write a succinct comment explaining why those comments weigh heavy on me but Idk how without writing a book! I'm sure I'll say more at some point but either way, you're a damn genius! My hair is currently going through some hair rehab but it was about an inch or 2 shorter than yours. Trying to set/stretch kinky curly hair (that has about 40% shrinkage!) into some semblance of a vintage style without using heat or putting rollers all over your head (it takes too damn long!) is no small feat. This is super smart and I'm 99% sure it would work just as well on my hair when it grows back. I would just do a fake blow-out first. Idk how soon it will be but I'll make sure to update you/share with everybody I know b/c I feel like this is going to change my entire hair game! I don't believe in the idea that it's "cheating" for what it's worth but I never would've guessed that's all you did to get those beautiful curls! I'm excited now! Thank you and brava! *Edited for clarity b/c I ended up writing a book anyway! I was trying to say I don't think there's a such thing as cheating, not that doing a shortcut when it comes to vintage hair is bad! Quite the opposite!
@VickyBermudez4 жыл бұрын
Yes, I think it's that some people expect to see hair up to your booty when you say long hair, and get really upset if they click on the video and it's not 😂 but it's only been a couple of people. Just felt I had to put it our there haha 🤣 oh man yes I can only imagine the struggle. Working with a lot of hair, especially coily/curly is a struggle on top of length! I truly hope this works out for you, do let me know! 😚❤💕☺

Have you watched Atypical on Netflix? It's one of my favorite shows. Highly recommend!! I can't wait until my hair gets longer!! I would like to grow it longer than I ever have actually - to hip length. I feel like I've been growing out my short hair forever and it's still just at my collarbone. 😭 *sigh* And yes, your hair IS long! People are lil crazy if they don't consider your hair long.. 🙄😑
