You're too hard on yourself babe, none of us over here are judging you, I think you did an amazing job and really made a job that is incredibly hard and tedious look extremely easy and meticulously crafted. We did these in hair school and it is no easy feat to use your finger alone to wrap barrel or pin curls, as well as having the curls match up around the entire head and flow seamlessly, AND have all the curls be balanced and consistent. Beautiful work, wet setting is an art. If you were in hair school with me and presented this set it would be an A+ absolutely! Anyone who has ever given you a rude comment is clearly conceded and low, or they have no idea what they're talking about because wet setting is an art and one of the hardest things to master in the industry. Cheers, beautiful set.

Gosh just the most beautiful comb out I've seen, fantastic. Don't doubt yourself because you make it seem like we don't need all kinds of fancy products and tools to achieve an end result such as yours! Bravo

I did it. Went straight to the dollar store after work and bought a $1 hair scarf and $1 pack of 80 pins. Didn't turn out as lovely as yours (considering I've never styled my hair... ever, this was expected), but I still have some decent waves on both sides. My hair is cut at a slight angle towards my chin, so the reverse of a 'U' cut, but it still turned out surprisingly well! Maybe I'll try some victory curls next time

You remind me of someone I hold very dear to my heart, like almost a replica of her…. my nana…. Hair color skin freckles everything, I must say I’m even kinda envious you look like her that much… She’s my Nana and who doesn’t love their Nana right 🤷🏻♀️ of course she’s getting older and who knows how much longer we’ll get to spend time with her…I hope 2 see her this XMAS as she doesn’t come out much anymore due to her age but this is also the reason I was looking for 40’s hair style.. thanks for the video…. Happy Holiday!!

When I first watched this on my FireTV, where you can't read the description box or comments, I totally thought the color changing back and forth like that was an intentional editorial choice & wondered how you did it, lol. It totally goes with the tone of the video!

I'm quite sure I learned more in this video than I have learned in all of them I've watched put together. Thank you so much! They look so tired at the beginning of the video and I appreciate all of your effort. I am an artist and for some reason the way that you explained Just the feeling the hair and the energy in the movement of the hair really made a difference. I just got it! Thank you so much. I've always been a tomboy, but I think it's more because I just never really felt like I deserve to spend time on myself 😢. I am changing that now.

i do the exact same thing to keep my mind occupied while i do a set! my hair usually takes almost 2 hours to set in pin curls that are small enough to dry overnight, and while i don’t really like tv or movies in general I’ve gotten into the habit of putting on a pbs documentary while i curl :)

Gorgeous. But please leave the video as colored instead of having monochrome filter on. When you do your makeup, it's hard to see what is going on when it's black and white. Your lipstick ends up looking black and was the only thing that was obvious.

Damn girl that's glam in a nutshell I love it - very Hollywoodisc (if that's a word no I don't think so I just made that up but you know what I'm saying)! Now all you have to bring is your Barbara Stanwyck - an actress ahead of her time if I ever knew one. Bless them for trying but seriously a lot of girls here try but they fall short of the 1940's look and tip my hats off to them but yours actually look like the real deal and I've watched enough Golden Years of Hollywood movies to know lol. If I can contribute to your successful look that music is probably more 1930's though and a little more height on the fringe to get the wow effect. www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FBarbara_Stanwyck&psig=AOvVaw0zDcrd4lvmJlHfL0PCNvIu&ust=1607072486286000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAIQjRxqFwoTCNiv7oi6se0CFQAAAAAdAAAAABAD
