What a great technique. I've been cutting my fringe slightly different but will definitely give your technique a try. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Nisha, Glad I'm not the only one who cuts their own hair. I've been trimming my fringe (bangs), since High School. I always need a trim between hair cuts, and my Hair Stylist is ok about it. You do a different technique than I do, because you have baby fringe, and I have full, but as long as it looks good, is what counts. My Grandpa & Uncle were both Barbers, so I must get my scissor skills from them. 😂😂 Thanks for demonstrating, and it looks really nice ! ☺️☺️

Perhaps your channel is what many people faced during Covid I was without my regular visits for a trim in those years. So I just started to cut my own hair "slow, careful and steady" thru the lock down...I have mastered my hair cuts in that time, now I want those whispy/fringe bangs...your "how to" is so helpful...I will try it, what I learned during Covid about my hair trims is what your telling us, we can apply those little details that a professional CANNOT do or fails to do at our request. My hair is just above my shoulders not quite all one length and thin, been very pleased with my own hair cuts and trim, people are so surprised that I dare to cut/trim my own hair. Thanks for sharing.

I am really bad at haircutting. It is not my strength. I absolutely cannot cut my bangs/fringe . I have to make an appointment to get it done. I’ve tried several times and what happens is I think I get too impatient or I start wanting to even it out. So I’ll cut a little bit and then cut the other side and then have to go back and match it up to the original side then I have to go back-and-forth and before I know it they’re up to my hairline and I’ve ruined myself. You did a great job. And you look beautiful. Have a happy new year.

Lol, I know what you mean honey, it's easily done. I have to restrain myself too because once I start cutting I want to carry on. Happy New Year xx

I love the way you do your center fringe! I washed and dried my hair and cut mine like you do this morning. This works for me as I've let my pixie grow out to a bob since the lockdowns. I'm going to let it grow a bit longer and see how I like it. I may end up back with a pixie again, but my center fringe will be cut like this for a long while to come. Thank you for sharing this!

I cut my own fringe as well. I don’t know if hairdressers hate me--but I definitely am not crazy about them.😃😃😃. Seldom in my very long lifetime have I been happy with the outcome or money spent. You did great with your fringe and you cut very much like I do mine.👍👍👍

I used to cut my hair. It was a short do. When I went through menopause I ended up losing some hair, now, I cut my wigs. Starting longer then need be at first, is wonderful advice. I'm like you, as far as thinking my forehead is big, well not big, but there sure does seem to be a lot of extra real-estate.😃 I like the way you explain thing's, you explain it and do it too. Thanks, I'm really glad you do both!
