Twelve layers was really too many layers to cut easily. If I ever cut squares again, I will definitely do less.

I am thinking it needs to be the thickness of this die with the B plates, and it does not need to be any wider than the Cuttlebug. I don’t have very many dies, so I don’t know about others. Sorry I can’t help much.

I am having MAJOR issues trying to cut a thin silk like fabric. I have tried to do a single layer with my cuttlebug. 2 B plates along with the A plate and die. As well as other nurmous variations of the plates and die, but the best I can get is an imprint a few little parts will cut all the way threw the material but nothing worth mentioning. I am really frustrated with it. Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks

I haven’t tried to cut silk like fabric. Maybe you can call the company. Sorry I can’t help you with this.

I just found we are not able to purchase replacement B plates as they've been discontinued, do you have any idea for replacement, if Sizzix or Spellbinders would work?

Can they do that, discontinue a part that is a main piece to their die cutting system?

Apparently they can. There was no reasoning with them that the plates break over time and whole machine becomes unusable. I am worried about all the digital images I spent my money on for cricut, what will happen if they discontinue design space, like they did with cricut craft room. I was able to find a replacement though for the B plates. I am not sure if you shop Aliexpress at all, I was able to get 3mm thick plate, 15cm x 19.5 cm, and I tried that with one of the plate B on the bottom. It cuts well.

I bought mine a few months back on JoAnn’s website. I’m pretty sure Amazon sells them too as well as other internet retailers. Just google the B plates and whoever is selling them will pop up! ♥️
