I love the designs of the Psyquines and the aesthetic of the world, especially how the iris color is also the highlight color on characters. Also I LOVE Mrs. Lune's design, the blue of her eyes is so striking.

By the logic of the Psyquines, it could also be interesting to see subgroups among the variations, these would be based more directly on specific members of the species they draw their inspiration from, and each of these variations could have features that help to be more specialized at certain kinds of magic or capable of certain kinds of magic that are not typically available for the other variations. For example, the Oryx and Big Horn Sheep are both goats/rams but are noticeably different in their features, and even have aspects associated with them within the cultures of our world. For example, the Oryx is a primary inspiration for the Digimon franchise's Oryxmon, and Oryxmon is categorized as a guardian of treasures and ruins, usually in relation to sacred places, so an Oryx subgroup of the goats/rams might be better capable at throwing out defensive spells or using magic designed for locating and hindering intruders, and maybe some of them even have access to unique spells that both guard against hostiles while healing and/or providing assistance to allies and friends. I think by making it so Psyquines each have unique traits in regards to their magic among the variants it could add to the world building and help to inform on their distinctive cultures.

you never cease to amaze me ink. Ive always wondered how people like you, creative type, can come up with such characters and worlds for us to enjoy. Its that little space between asleep and awake that you can tap into that, someone like me, has no such creative talent is so impressed by. I like how you made the rings of their horns into "spell slots" and the addition of "spell slots" to be a painful process nice way to add balance so no single individual or species can overpower or exert dominance over another. Thank you for letting us in and showing the more intimate side of your creativity. You are amazing and an inspiration.

There's so many details, it's so amazing!! I wanna know more!! One question: what kind of negative side effects does a cracked/missing horn(s) on a Psyquine entail? Such as Ms. Noiramore and Mrs. Grinsby and their predicaments?

From what I currently have written up, cracked horns can cause instability in spells. And if the crack goes all the way through a golden ring, that spell slot is now unusable. Those whose horns have been removed entirely, such as Grinsby, can't use spells unless they have a special wand made from the same crystal within the horns. But using wands can be much more unpredictable and requires much greater mental control.

Thank you!! I stared doing original content with my Dragon Queen series, which was basically just me doing an audiobook narration of the book I was writing. I recommend writing out the details of your world in a fun way, narrating it, then editing it into a video! Or you could start on the story itself and narrate that. ^_^

1. is it possible for equine/equine esque species without horns like donkeys to exist in the psyquine species? if so, would they have a different way of performing magic, and how they fit into psyquine society? 2. are the noiramore students young kids or teens? at first i thought they were in the 8-10 age range in human years but becky has a boyfriend so 🤷‍♂️ 3. will there be any lgbtq+ representation in the game? not forcing you to as i know sometimes things are best left up to interpretation : )

1. Probably not, as the defining feature of this species is the horns. Not completely off the table though! As I continue to build out the world more ideas may come to me! 2. They're preteens! around 12-13. Becky and Nicholas are dating not out of a real understanding of romantic love but more because its considered 'the thing to do' because adults do it (kinda like what many kids will do at that age). They do quite like each other, but yeah they're not dating in the more teenage/adult sense if that makes sense. XD 3. It's not planned, but I appreciate your questions!
