This feels just like an old myth, explaining how sunset/dusk came to exist. It's delightfully sweet, and the designs for the characters are beautiful. Kudos to the team!

I noticed something really cool while watching. For the majority of the short, the animation was sort of a widescreen look, with the two black bars on the top and bottom. However, when Twilight comes, the aspect ratio changes. The black bar disappears and it changes to more of a full screen look. It gives the impression that their world has grown bigger and fuller now that they can share in it together. And I absolutely love that

Ikr and the way they transitioned that was using the burst of light and making it break through to the bar before expanding

I nearly teared up seeing the joy on the moon’s face. After only seeing flowers close in her wake, finally a blossom that blooms with her touch.

This is so beautiful! I love the character designs and the colors and I think the emotions are shown really well. I love the theme of people who are very different wanting to connect and share experiences with each other. It's very sweet. I see some people arguing in the comments about whether the relationship between the characters is platonic or romantic. I think both interpretations are lovely, and it's ambiguous enough I don't necessarily believe there's a right way to look at it. However... If you spend as much time staring longingly at your "best friend" as these ladies do, you might need to re-evaluate some things about yourself.

This is so beautiful. I would just like to say; I am disappointed at the attitude of the people in these comments. Art is in the eye of the beholder, sure, but if this were a man and a woman there would be no doubt they are in love-romantic love. But because they are women, so many people are saying “well, in my opinion, it’s just friendship!” and using plausible deniability & opinions as an excuse for homophobia. People like to see themselves in art, and if “thinking” a character is queer helps them enjoy it just let them be. We aren’t hurting you, or your ability to enjoy art.
