Do you find it more difficult to write the lyrics first, and then come up with a melody? I'm getting ready to demo my first song, and I have a few more written, but they're just lyrics. Typically, I'll get a thought in my head and just start writing. I'm curious what the "norm" or easiest way to write is. Thank you for doing this channel and giving feedback. I hope I can see you in concert again soon.

I've been having an easier time finding a catchy melody that I'll hum to myself a bunch of times until it sounds good, and then start trying to fit lyrics in there. Honestly just have to experiment A TON because there are a ton of different ways to end up with a great song. BUT the key to good writing, is rewriting!
