Let me know how you feel about this set and if you feel you can do your own lashes now!
@tovah22764 ай бұрын
Easy peasy….been doing my own the same way forever. I have TRIED to explain this technique to friends but without my Crayons, they JUST DO NOT GET IT….So, you have saved me from losing my head as I will be SHARING this with them ALL if only to shut em up LOL!!! What is super important is applying the Lashify FIRST because it is actually doing TWO things…first off it is protecting your lashes and secondly, it is helping to “grab” the cluster with the Pro glue when you bring them up to your lash. THAT is integral part. I am not interested of just applying my clusters straight to my lash. AND I guess that it also makes them easier to remove and NOT rip out YOUR lashes. Like I said I have done it this way for a long time and it is a no brainer as long as people know to ensure that each cluster touches the next one so that there isn’t a “gap” between them. Excellent that you caught yours as that is just what I do as well. I have a “recipe” for us that do our lashes this way so we can “wash” them at the end of each day because the first thing that breaks down the glue the fastest is our own oils we produce naturally. It is super simple…..You Need a tiny “foam pump” travel size bottle. It holds about 50ml but it must be a FOAM pump. You need Baking soda, Distilled Water (ONLY DISTILLED, not sterile, not bottled….DISTILLED), and Baby shampoo. In the foam pump bottle, add 2 DROPS of Baby Shampoo. Yeah yeah, “what is a drop?”….if I had to MEASURE a drop I would guess 1/8th of a tsp. TEA spoon, NOT TABLESPOON! then a 1/4 tsp of Baking Soda and fill the bottle almost to the top of the foam pump travel bottle…..leave about a 1/2” from the top so you can give it a good shake to get every thing MIXED and you WILL want to SHAKE IT EVERY TIME. Now, as most people know when getting lash extensions, they will tell you NOT to wash your lashes until the next morning or “wait for 12- 24 hours at least”….yeah, ok….you do that. I won’t, but you go right ahead because who doesn’t LOVE that “JUST got hot sauce in my eye”, look. You know…the pink/red eye. NOT pretty. Here is another awesome tip to ensure and solidify that glue so you CAN go out and “get caught in the rain…”…..there is a product that everyone and their dog is making now called a “sealant” or “sealer”…..well, after about 1-2 hours, I will put a VERY VERY small amount on the top of my lash line…..where you would normally wear liquid eyeliner to give you a visual. Well, using one of those SUPER DOOPER THIN haired nail brushes that the talented nail girls use to draw the Mona Lisa on your ring finger for an extra $25, grab one of those at any nail or hair supply place like good ol Sally’s and dip that long long haired nail brush in to the “Sealant/Sealer” and then shake off the excess and paint that across where you would put liquid eyeliner. Perfect! NOT TOO MUCH or ur lashes with look oily and wet and the next morning they will be hard as rocks. It hurts. This IS a “LESS is MORE” thing. So swipe one stroke of the Sealant/Sealer on and let it air dry for about an hour or you can even use your wee pocket fan to speed that up. Then, just before bed, give that Pump foam dispenser that you made the lash cleaner in, a GOOD SHAKE and pump a couple of pumps into your hand and pat pat pat it along your new lashes…..then with luke warm water, rinse off the lash cleaner foam and then pat pat pat again with a NO FIBRE TOWEL…you do NOT want ANY wee FIBRES getting stuck in your lashes. SOOOO ANNOYING!!! And voila, you are ready for bed, on with your night cream and keep it AWAY from your lashes! NO cream on top of lids or under eyes if it gets too close to your NEW lashes it WILL work just like your natural oils and “help” them fall off faster so forget about making it a week!!! Go to sleep and PLEASE try to sleep on your BACK…..it is hands down THE BEST thing you can LEARN to do for your HEALTH…and by HEALTH I mean, your face, as in LESS WRINKLES and no I do not care what pillow you have…mulberry silk or not….sleep on your BACK…..It is GREAT FOR YOUR ACTUAL SPINE as in your BACK…..it keeps you aligned properly and it is even great to put a pillow under your knees so your hips don’t splay. Sleeping on your back is so good for your circulation in your face and helps to keep your skin clear of blemishes as well as no wrinkles AND it is really good for those new lashes and not having them all bent and twisted the FIRST day! It is great for your heart and your bowels to sleep on your back and it also keeps your BP steady at night as well as it helping your brain to absorb and process the O2 the best for your brain AND your skin in helping the blood circulation! It is really good for your hair as well and if you are worried about messy hair, then get a SILK or SATIN Hair cap and learn to put your hair in a HIGH PONY as in at the TOP of your noggin! THEN you can put a silk mulberry cap on OR use your Mulberry Pillow case (I personally LOVE the Mulberry Silk from PMD. They make all of the facial electric brushes to get your skin clean and clear…..their pillow cases are AWESOME!!! Cheaper than Blissy and “my Pillow” and a LOT better quality. If you buy a Mulberry Silk Pillow case on Amazon as there are a million and one of them on there, do not buy anything less than a 22 momme silk pillow case. NOTHING lower than that 22 momme. FYI, COTTON IS THE WORST thing you can sleep on for your skin health. Even WOOL is better….true. Do the research! Now, there ARE good 22 momme Silk and bad 22 momme silk so read all the fine print and ASK questions like what is the lifetime expectancy of the pillowcase and how do I care for it etc. go and look at the 1-2 star reviews as that is where u find the “uh-oh” information. So, there you go beautiful!!!! Just had to add the I LOVE that you showed EXACTLY how to apply lashes the RIGHT way. NOT ON TOP but underneath and NOT EVER NEVER EVER on the water line….you will only make that mistake ONCE. LOL…yep,,,just once. Now, I did notice some “haters” making comments …. Blah blah blah…..I am a Nurse Practitioner and I have worked and taught on 3 Continents and in 11 Countries. MOST of the people watching THIS are adults and they can do whatever they want to do. IF you are NOT an adult I would strongly suggest you NOT do this and you wait for your lashes to grow until you get past Puberty because messing with your lashes BEFORE you get OUT of Puberty can actually STOP the oil glands that feed your lashes and keep them nice and healthy….so, doNOT be in such a rush to grow up ok? Just chill. Adulthood comes way too fast and you will WISH you could start over knowing what you know now. Trust me. THIS, I KNOW. As for the haters and the “You should NEVER…..yada yada yada…”….ok, then Don’t do it. 🤷🏼♀️ You do you people. Everyone can research their brains out and you can actually use this exact technique using lashify glue or any other type of glue that is not professional and still use the sealer/sealant. you will get about 3-4 days tops out of it but using this technique. The basic gist of it is, don’t be a fool. Use a magnifying mirror, use great lighting, have everything you need for the “just in case” moments, handy. If you are nervous, then practice practice practice with just plain old reg glue. There are a ton of ways to do this out there on YT but this is by far my fave because using the clusters will save you a ton of time. What she says is spot on. NOW…here is MY BIG ASK……and maybe you already HAVE DONE THIS…but……how about a PART 2….HOW TO TAKE THEM OFF? Yes, it IS trickier and it is a VERY CAUTIOUS thing as the only thing that takes off pro lash glue is acetone and no one really WANTS that near their eye, BUT, there IS a very safe way to do this so I hope you will teach the minions how. YOU my darling have nailed everything else right on the head and 1000000 MILLION KUDOS for using a SEPERATE “blob” of GLUE for your OTHER EYE. Whenever you are doing anything with your eyes, have DOUBLES….two lash brushes, two mascaras, two of everything. NO I am NOT completely crazy. The chance for cross contamination in the eye is huge and the ONLY way to keep cross contamination to a 0% is to NEVER use ANYTHING on BOTH EYES. Have a set of everything for your RIGHT eye and a set of everything for your LEFT EYE. You can think that is excessive…but…..I have an amazing mentor from my first 3-4 years in ER who will beg to differ with you. She ended up with HSV in her Right eye. By the Grace of G-d, she is healthy BUT, BECAUSE she is so very very cautious about having two of EVERYTHING, she will not worry 23hours a day about cross contamination so neither should YOU. GOOD JOB ON THAT ONE HON!!! APPLAUSE 👏🏻!!! Ok. Mix up that lash cleaner and use it night and day! It is awesome and does NOT break down the glue but it does get rid of the natural oil our eyes create when we sleep or when we are blinking all day and it helps to keep the glue nice and clean and NOT deteriorating. It is a great recipe so share it around people!! It works on strip lashes as well but I would use a Qtip and be super gentle. IT WORKS! GOOD LUCK TO ALL and remember, THANK P, do NOT HATE ON HER!!! She is just helping. If YOU are unsafe in how YOU do it, that is on YOU, not her. Much love. You go girl!!! ❤❤❤❤

Hey love, as I mentioned I don’t do anything special to remove them. At about the one week mark, they start to become lose and they either fall on their own or they’re lose enough that I am just able to gently pull them off. However, they do sell remover, should you wanna be able to take them off sooner. Hope that helps!

I used to wear strip lashes on a daily years ago. I stopped for a long time but now that I’m 42 feeling kinda blah and want to feel pretty again. Wow what a difference they make ✨ my only complaint is all the packs of clusters only have one row of the smallest size #8 😢 I don’t use the lashes anymore very hooded, especially as I’ve gotten older so I don’t want to draw too much attention. I really like the manga style lashes and I found some on Amazon that looked really natural, but like I said, it only came with a couple rows of the size 8

If you are using skincare products and changing your pillows 5-7 times a week and you not seeing results. I would recommend to cure your skin focus on gut health. Taking probiotics and also turmeric for inflammation and working out will cure your skin. It helps if you know your blood type (for instance I am body type O+ ) so I can not eat gluten and certain things like gluten which makes my skin break out drastically along with sugar, diary and fried foods causes breakouts. Acne or not you are Gorgeous 🥰❤️

Thank you! The lashes do not fall out when I’m sleeping or showering, unless they’re at the end of their wear (usually after a week or so). And yeah, the rule is try not to shower right after doing the lashes, because the steam from the shower will not allow the glue to fully dry. I hope that helps!

She shouldn’t have did them on the waterline and maybe not as clean and precise however you’re coming from a biased place because the individual lash industry is dying. Mind you look up eastern Asian videos where they have been doing this for over 15-20 years (prior to America). They use permanent black adhesive. They leave on for 4-5 days and use professional removal and are so skilled to the point where they take them off as fast as dropping a lash technician 🤷♀️ NO NL FALL OIY OR PULLED IN REAL TIME TUTORIALS. Maybe this might not have been the best one but she tried to show and she will get better. Now go search the everyday “non professional” from china or Korea. eastern Asian tutorials and how they remove. Professional use glue is only intended for professional use here for money reasons. Period. Also yes I am aware of growth and how they grow at different rates. That’s why you do not leave them on for more than 4-5 days. Then change them. Leave a few mm of space from water line. Perfection and done cleanly. Removed with zero hairs removed and thick lashes, THICK NL LASHES. Again for decades done in Eastern Asia. We took that wave. Janky nail salons would do them at first and messed up because they knew we didn’t know better. Then learned. Now learning more. Look up the growth and impact in general. not just from your instructor and what you leaned but from Mayo Clinic or another reliable medical source. Aka SCIENCE THAT IS NOT BIASED. NOT TECHS THAT WILL PUT DOWN AND ONLY SHOW PEOPLE WHO DO BAD JOBS AND DESTROY THEIR LASHES. MEDICAL BLOGS from EYE DOCTORS will state ALL EXTENSIONS EVEN INDIVIDUAL LASHES ARE BAD FOR NATURAL LASHES. Those are from doctors. You’re no doctor. Please stop leaving biased comments.
@ericap064 ай бұрын
We know lash techs are crying about the industry dying but it is what it is. And this was light work. Better search the 3d with spikes from those who have mastered it with different size clusters that are even smaller on the base. With diff curls, densities, able to create wet effect, wispy hybrid, and so fourth. Not just beginner pack basic styles. Again, it’s time to look for another specialty soon. My advice. It is absolutely dying. And I am not just saying this. I promise you it is. You’ll be seeing more advanced and carefully prepped tutorials either proper removal of clusters and different styles you’d be amazed. Let’s not forget the wispy feathered spike look and manga that’s created with layering and have bands that are also clear and nearly impossible to feel. As much as you’d feel individuals. Hope this helpssss
