When my wife and I travel to a new city we love going to the art museums because you not only get to enjoy the pieces themselves but you also get to learn about the city/country you're in through special exhibits. Honestly never thought about sketching there but I'll have to try that next time! Also, love the music.

I love seeing a new city. Thanks for sharing Chicago and your art tips with us. I’m the person who wants to know everything about a piece and I exhaust myself reading everything about them. Haha. I think the drummers are a city thing. We sometimes have them in Seattle.

This is great awareness and excellent advice. I can see the significant value in intentionally placing yourself in new or unique environments regardless of whether you initially feel like it or not.
