You can make so much money teaching people HOW you are cutting costs and living more minimally in addition to teaching how to negotiate down a lot of the subscriptions etc you had. THIS IS BIG. I sent you a IG message and thought to share that with you you are still leaving a lot of money on the table. Thanks for the video I learned a lot. 😀

If I can make a recommendation - things like cooking, exercising, side hustles...etc ARE "getting a life" Those things can be really useful for people your age, and I'd suggest making videos on your experience with banking, finance (buying a house) , starting a business, fixing things around the house, car repair, and things like that. I think there are many many people in their early 20's who've never been taught that stuff and they don't want a lecture from old people, they want someone like them telling them how they learned, the mistakes they made and the benefit to learning it. Videos like that would be cheap to make.

Charlie white is also another personality that is so likable. It’s really hard to be consistently charming and charismatic. 3 things that are a recipe for KZbin success, 2/3 and you can still succeed. 1. Bomb personality (like Charlie or Adam). Very few KZbinrs will succeed with this alone but it is possible. 2. Actual talent/teaching (like art restoration, sewing tutorials, expert stuff, etc) 3. Amazing video, audio, editing quality and consistency

You are a very impressive person, genuinely. One of the most capable and versatile individuals I've ever seen in hobbies and work alike. It's actually amazing to see. You can do almost anything you set your mind to and you are willing to do the work. It's so funny to see you go from reptiles to wrapping a whole car to even house work😂.(You may think it's silly to think outdoor housework is impressive but you'd be surprised just how many people can't or don't know how to do it) And on top of that, your genuine and sincere personality makes you very enjoyable to watch. No matter what the topic of the video will be I can always expect great humor and honesty. I suspect that's why people keep coming back and will continue to do so whatever you decide to post next.

Geniuenly, i think that your content doesnt really need a niche. It reminds me a bit of KZbin creators like atomic shrimp or someordinarygamers - they dont just do one specific type of content really, just life content. Sometimes It's just the algorithm struggling to figure you out, i feel like. Which sucks but i think your dedication will take you places, we just need some time and try new things. Good luck bro

As an adult who has been adulting for longer than you've been alive, it makes me hella nervous to hear you have no savings. 😅 But I find it incredibly refreshing to hear how you have minimized expenses and maximized your options. There are so many ways to live life, and money should be viewed as a means to an end, not THE end. You sound happy and motivated, and I'm envious of all the time you spend outside. Actually quite inspiring to me; I'm going to use some of your suggestions on how to cut loose some needless subscriptions and minimize my clutter. The part of your video that really resonated with me was when you said you have started doing a lot of your own repairs and stuff like plumbing, electric, etc. I just installed brakes on my car today for the first time trying to avoid the crazy costs a local shop wanted. I can now heat and cool my house without the system struggling and it has made a HUGE difference on my monthly electric bill. Remove the framing, spray in between every crack and crevice, and slap all the framing back on. It doesn’t look pretty, but saving money looks prettier imo 😅

this is the reality of youtube is that it's not about what YOU the creator want to do personally rather it's about what YOU the viewer wants, so as a creator if you attract a viewer(s) with a type of content and then try to do something else that is not in that viewers interest the KZbin algorithm punishes you and suppresses your content for not catering to those viewers. basically what I have come to realize is that if you want to do different content it's almost a better idea to make a new channel entirely for said content instead of trying to rebrand as you will always be battling the youtube Algorithm punishment like suppression for deterring from whatever og content you started with.

I’ve always felt that way, but then you mentioned about how when you didn’t have a good shift doing one of the gig apps, those videos got much more views. Also with this video, 15k views in one day. Also the weightlifting, but no gains video. But when you post a good video, that people who actually enjoy you and watching your videos would like, not many people tune in. We gotta do better as people. I don’t think much blame can go to the algorithm on this issue.

You got bored of it around the same time I stopped watching them as much. I can't say I like EVERY topic you explore, and you explore a lot of them - but there's definitely videos you've made within the past year or two that I enjoy. My personal favorites are the cooking videos and gaming stuff. I also enjoy vlog-type videos, though, like the series about ants fucking up your everything. I like seeing your reactions to comments or other things as well. Your personality is definitely a big reason why I've stayed despite maybe half of your videos not piquing my interest. You've delved into a variety of genres and you're always bound to get into something I am interested in. I hope you'll keep making videos and experimenting :-)

I am obsessed with reptiles and that’s how I found your channel but I stayed because I love your personality and your videos bring me genuine comfort just because I love your personality. I know nothing about cars and they do not interest me but you are super funny so it’s ok. You should do vlogs tbh like day in the life of me or something

I love the fixing your life episodes, your clothes video reminded me of a friend who wore the same shirt and pants every day. One day we went to the mall & I helped pick stuff out for him together, now years later his style is way more developed. Seeing you go through your own similar process reminds me of those happy times. Good luck with everything, thanks for all the videos :)

In still very curious on what reptiles are still alive and what he currently owns specifically. Animal updates if you have any left would be awesome!!

Others have said this, but Mr. Herping you are so open, articulate and reflective on these "boring adult" topics. I'd love to see more of these types of videos especially on finances and "life tutorials". Thanks for sharing your experience.

Simple explanation, your content changed. And a lot of people who came for the original down to earth me and my pets content had to go elsewhere to find it. I still come and check in on how you're doing. You were a huge part of my content lineup for 2 years. Keepup the hard work and gains. You'll be back in no time!

The battle of committing to a niche is a real one. Like you, I’ve been making videos across various channels over the years. This one has been several niches over the years but i find myself wanting to create videos on other topics. It’s a shame the platform shuns niche rejection. Interesting to learn you’re at least in to firearms enough to own some. Not something I would’ve guessed honestly

I’ve changed content as well for a variety of reasons. I already had experienced a shadowban on TikTok which eventually led me to burnout. Once I switched, I faced further drop 😅 but I just couldn’t take anymore with the old content so I don’t regret the decision. However, now I do a little bit of everything so I have a good balance of doing what I love and still provide some of what most of my followers love. My channel here is growing but TikTok continues to drop. I’m in the process of trying to get out of the shadowban and I have a few plans left

If you're comfortable with the risk and the disruption to your life, you could probably make quite a lot as a volunteer for medical trials. For the first round of a human trial, they need healthy volunteers to check that the medicine is safe to use in humans and find out what the side effects are. They specifically need men who are young and healthy because they need to be absolutely sure that the people in the trial aren't pregnant at the time. I'm not sure how it works in the USA, in the uk you're not technically paid but you are "compensated" for your time, it can be a few hundred pounds for staying overnight for a few days, and then following up a few times over the next few weeks while they check you're okay.

I got my first car in my late 20's now (Scandinavia) for practice driving. Got screwed over at a hick car mechanics shop way up in the woods, read about the EU's bs "plenty of mechanics shops for customers, so much selection!, isn't that great!".. Like wild west shit with no standardized prices, or prices at all on their websites. Anyways after that i wanted to learn everything a person with two jack stands can do at home. Next up is installing the new brake pads and discs this autumn/winter, very interesting to learn. Great video as always.

As a youtuber with one channel 150k subs and one 600k subs i learned to make multiple channels based on multiple audiences. Since one likes cars, one likes hiking the audiences are completely different and the youtube algorithm pushes my channels it in 2 completely different directions. Since growing a new channel is fairly easy (especially with the same name just changing the word at the end) Your core audience will find you but the new audience say only interested in cars will only see that content. Hope it helps, worked wonders for me.

I lost my job of several years last December. I live on a small Caribbean island where good jobs just don't exist unless you're the owner. I decided to stop looking and allow life to come to me. I bought a piece of rainforest property on the highest mountain and started a banana farm. 500+ banana trees so far, 6 varieties. I live alone up here with my 2 cats. It's a hard job, and I feel dirty a lot, but I don't care much. It's the happiest I have been in ages. The bananas are instant gratification for all my hard work. It isn't easy to think outside of the proverbial box, but if you allow yourself to, sometimes I guess it pays off.
