I built a tiny home trailer. Bin full time over a year now. It’s the size of a jail cell but it’s got all the luxury of home. 42 inch tv, pc, PlayStation, 5g internet, Murphy bed, pull out keyboard and desk chair, manual pump sink, shower, bucket toilet, diesel heater, wood stove, electricity hook up, Ethernet hook up, small kitchen, fresh air heat exchanger and good insulation with a metal exterior insulated door and one window with air conditioner for summer.

I’ve been in a similar cascading situation. It don’t take much when you’re flying solo-dolo. Get sick too much, miss work, without any income replacement like personal time/sick time available to cover absences. Medical bills, along with all the other cost of simply living. Meningitis cost me at the time $32,000.00 years ago. Life is not for the faint of heart. It takes tenacity and perseverance and creativity. Stay strong, it’s a journey. The stuff we go through gives us something interesting to talk about as we journey down the road. It also gives us also compassion and empathy for the suffering of others when we’ve experienced the same. Keep being genuine. In a incredibly artificial world, it’s more precious than rubies to be humbly who you are. Even when it’s not glamorous or pretty. Id look into a small wood stove. Or finding a plug to rent running an extension cord off of. Ive lived in mansion and ive lived in mud. You got a shelter so your ahead of most. Keep that insurance and registration issue free and dont liveoff the engne heater

Poverty is a wide awake nightmare. I was poor and rural homeless as a teen, and nothing hurts as much as a cold winter night with no heat. I slept under 6 nasty blankets and when I woke up the only thing that got me out of that bed was the prospect of going to high school and getting warm while getting fed.

The only advice I can give is to take 10% of everything you make and set it aside for yourself, then invest it. Find a way to make that money work for you. I realize the lower your income the harder that is, but its the only way out of the cold.

Stay strong brother. Dont hold yourself guilty for what happened to zero. You were just trying to help him. My dogs 11 now and has a cyst growing on his back and a tumor growing on his eye. They dont bug him yet but they will eventually and when that time comes im going to let him go. I know ill be in shambles and i think the way you handled everything shows how strong you are. Zero will be there for ya in spirit. Life works in mysterious ways. Everything happens for a reason even if it doesnt seem like it. New suscriber buddy. Keep on keeping your head up! You will make it. Not having a dog does free up alot of time to work. I know i have been taking less and less hours working with my dog getting older. I know when hes gone ill be able to make up for it and gqin some ground work wise. So for now im trying to just enjoy his time. Hes an 11 year old rhodesian ridgeback/blue/red nose pit/americanbulldog mix. Hes a firecracker. I also got 2 toyotas man. A 1995 toyota t100 sr5 extracab 4x4 with a high rise shell and a 1992 toyota pickup 2wd. Love yotas man. Another thing. Maybe look into frito lay or beer deliveries. I know a buddy who works at frito lay driving small trucks and stocking chips. He makes good money. Suprisingly good. Just an idea buddy! Keep on keeping on.

Dang I wish i did a better job filming it when I did mine. IL try to show it better on a video for you. But it's not hard I just measured the back let's just say it was 4 foot high and 4 foot wide I put down a piece of plywood that size and I took 4 " 2 x 2" pieces of wood screwed them together to make a square then added another piece of "2 x 2" in the middle. Then I cut a door in between that middle piece and one of the sides. Hope that helps give you an idea in the meantime. The best way to learn is trail and error so always have a bit of extra wood! Heartbreaking story brother. Had a similar situation with my dog last year. Had him for over 12 years, decided he’d be better with family. Gave him a better situation in his final year of life, less time alone and another dog around the house - while I tried to get my life together. Stories like yours remind me of when I was your age. Always bad timing with crises and money. I've come to realize that it's not bad timing at all. We just live in a miserable place whereby you are never supposed to be comfortable and always worried about losing your shelter/loved ones. Interesting tidbit about Ancient Rome, about Mos Maiorum. When the sons returned from serving in the Legions they were given property by Caesar/Emperor as a reward for their service. As well as a woman provided by the Patriarchs who would go on to make a home with the legionnaire. This high trust union provided ample children, happiness and most importantly never having to worry for shelter or food. Not saying life back then was all that good. Many died early due to lack of medicine. However culturally they were wise to the failings of human nature and they were simply better than us. That's how they occupied the whole of the world whereby we cannot occupy the shoes of our parents. We need to gut the low trust society we are currently living in. Babylon needs to die so that Rome can be reborn.

Hey Man. This video came up in my feed. Its xmas day, well theres no such thing as a coincidence. First off sorry for the loss of zero, I was a dog owner for most my life, i know that pain. I started making videos around this time last year. I was in the process of quitting a brutal iv drug habit for the first time in over 10 years. We all struggle in our own ways but theres also a common bond there. I destroyed myself through addiction but for some reason was spared. I didn't want to show face for the shame of what I had done to myself. I've discovered that the best way to get past those speedbumps is face them head on. Keep making more videos. I'm not sure what your spiritual beliefs are, I'm not even sure what mine are😂 but after going through the "Godsmack" that I got last winter I now believe there is something greater going on. Like a shift of sorts. I'm subbed up, keep putting one foot in front of the other bro, you're example of perseverance goes to show that anything is possible. Turn this struggle around and make it a positive. Keep growing your community here on youtube, where one door closes another one opens. This is not the end of your book, its the start of your next chapter.

Its tough to be vulnerable and put this stuff out on the internet, thank you for sharing and i am sorry for your loss and the tough times your experiencing. I'm only 28, but at 23 I was a full blown alcoholic and ended up getting diagnosed with congestive heart failure, my ex left ( i lived with her) so i also found myself without a home. I owned a motorcycle and a trash bag full of clothes. I was fortunate enough that my parents let me stay with them until i got back on my feet. I had a lot of help but it was definitely my "rock bottom" Ive been sober for 4 years now and my life has changed so much its incredible and one of the biggest lesson ive learned was that while rock bottom is scary, lonely, dangerous...you will learn who you are, and who you want to be, and there is no other time in your life you experience the type of personal growth then when your pulling yourself back up. Keep with it man. No matter how small, find something to be grateful for everyday, and something to look forward too everyday, put in the work and good things will come. You got this.

Bless your soul my brother. I understand and can relate to your grief as I lived through an incredibly similar veterinarian/lost loved best companion situation. All we can do is keep on keeping on and keep our loved ones alive in our hearts and our memories with and of them. I can also relate because I'm very possibly looking at moving into my van real soon. Kinda forced but also kinda willingly and acceptingly. I'm subscribing and looking forward to further content of yours. I respect the realness you put out into the world of being human and the pains we endure in this physical realm. I know being vulnerable isn't easy. But I do believe it's a path to salvation and love. Much love my unknown brother from another mother. Keep keeping it real and keep moving forward, putting one foot in front of the other. I'm moving back into my cube van this Spring. I'm living in a house that's not quite ideal. It's in a very bad area of town. It's not safe here. So I have to get out of here. I'll be moving back down to Victoria, British Columbia on Vancouver Island. I'll be living on the streets in my cube van. I work for myself so getting work is not difficult. I'm actually looking forward to the change. Where I live right now I can go down to -40 Fahrenheit and sometimes below that. Good luck on your new adventures ☺️

Lost my 3 dogs in a year. First i lost my rescue Phoenix she was 13 and amazing. Then we lost my other rescue he was 13-14 not sure he passed on my girls birthday. Buxton he was a rescue as well we only had him about 5 years. Phoenix we had for at least 12 years. Then last year we lost my service dog to cancer. She was 11 it came out of nowhere and fast. It started we thought was a toothache. Then a tumor grew on her head. I was blessed with good vets. I miss them so much. After having dogs for so many years i wanted a rescue. I went to 3 place trying to find a female. Plus they wanted me to go to a class i find crazy. Especially since i had worked for the rescue years before most of the workers were even born. Anyway I was depressed sitting in my truck looking through pictures on the phone. I got a call out of nowhere. A guy said i have a great dog for you. So instead of a rescue i have a puppy born on Christmas day. She will be one year the 25. I wish I could say it's been easy. I will say it's been easier since Crazy Luna came into my life. Dogs make everything better. Because of my other dogs i got clean. I was a mess since i left the army. My dogs were the reason for me. It's never easy brother. I wish you the best. I highly recommend getting a rescue. Life is always better when you have something to take care of.

My dog passed in 2020, I buried her the next morning at my friend's farm property, it was a really hard day. The memory of it all still hurts, I was home with her when she passed away, she was a good girl. Your companion sounds like he was living his best life and was one of the best boys, that's something to hold on to. It takes strength to bare all to anyone and everyone as you've done in this video, you seem to be doing the best you can with what you have available, and that's really something to be proud of. Your journey is bound to lead you to bigger and better things in time, I'm glad I stumbled across your channel.

Hey, I appreciate how you feel. My first winter here at Cleburne, we had 5 deep freezes in a row. My food kept freezing inside the refer, my dog first went blind, then I had to carry him to the vet and have him put down because he was in horrible pain with his teeth, then had to bury him by myself. I think I cried from hard times that entire winter. But then the spring came and I began to learn how to survive. Now I have loads of pets and a much warmer cabin, albeit in the same place. I’m sorry for your loss. Sounds like your dog knew love throughout his life and as you said the end of his life he was surrounded by family and a new young girlfriend. A dog I had around 30 years ago still comes to visit me in my dreams sometimes and it feels so real when I wake up it takes a minute to make sense of it. I was about your age when I lost my friend. Im 71 now and treasure seeing my friend on rare occasions . Stay warm fellow truck camper. If you haven't already get yourself a 2kw diesel heater and spring the extra few $$ for the Bluetooth model. It's a game changer for winter truck living. Winter time can get dangerous. Best wishes.......

in the winter alot of campgrounds have discounts in the off months. maybe hitting some electric campsites where you can run a space heater and have a fire and enjoy living in your truck a little more might help man.
