I sortof hate dusting, but last week I deep dusted my bedroom and it feels so clean. I am instantly relaxed once I walk in. Could dusting be a path to relaxation? What do you think? Also, digging out roots from my flower beds with a mattock ... best stress reliever ever! How come no one ever told me?

Haha time challenged! Me too: the idea of doing something is a lot faster than actually doing it. I move plants around more now because they’ve grown and need more space. Also I divide larger clumps and use these to fill in other spaces. Let the garden tell you.💚🐇

Time challenged! That’s me too: ideas and plans seem easy while the execution takes a little longer. Many of the garden plants I originally bought have grown so I divide or move them around to fill in other spaces. You’re on the right track- let the garden tell you!💚🐇

I'm right there with you friend, I leave cleaning my bedroom for last . I also own a very old home and the dust is crazy , I sometimes feel like the house is slowly deteriorating and that's why it is so dusty. Very cute that yu are wearing your ballet outfit to clean.❤

I dust with a woolen duster which always makes me feel like I am in a Mary Poppins movie! I spent last week decluttering and cleaning the master bedroom. Alas, I have real trouble getting my husband on board who has some hoarding tendencies I am always trying to (gently) keep in check. I have started doing a thing where sometime before Thanksgiving or in Advent, I hire a cleaning crew to come in and clean things like dusting behind furniture and wiping down the baseboards. I have a bad back! That’s my excuse! Love the Degas!

As for how I clean my room ... my bed is actually in my dining room, and then my dresser and clothes closet are in a bedroom with my exercise stuff. :) My dining room table is in my living room. I just arranged things this way about 2 months ago and I like it so far. j

I dust while I'm on the phone. I actually don't like talking on the phone, so doing both at the same time is a great distraction for both activities. 😊 I've been procrastinating on cleaning under and behind the stove and fridge ... that needs to be on some kind of cleaning rotation, but I'm random right now. A few times a year is ok, but I used to do once a month, and it was super easy (not enough time to build up too much gunk). My daughter and daughters-in-law all have their babies at home ... so, lots of home births. I'm blessed to have been able to attend each one so far. It's very special! I attempted to do a week in the life video, but it was way too much footage to edit. Eeek! Today I hope to at least get one day of last week posted as a day in the life. We'll see! Probably the day I processed some elderberries. Feel free to send your rain our way!! It's been hot, humid, and absolutely no rain. A few days were actually not as humid, and that makes 95⁰ much nicer!!!! But, no rain. My garden is gone. I couldn't keep up with the lack of moisture, even with drip irrigation (we have 3 houses and farm animals all sharing the same well, so if any of us irrigate over night, there's very slow water in the morning ... and then all the animals need water, and that makes barn chores very long). So ....... we'll see what next year brings. I AM irrigating my raspberries, still hoping for a fall crop. That will come on soon, if at all. ❤ Joanne in SW MO
