MVP Here’s some truth. Your Nazi friends got their asses beat in 1945. Germany lost both world wars. Speaking of which, Germany has never denied the holocaust and they never will. Their opinion is the only one that matters. Not yours or any of your small minded friends who try to deny and revise history.
@JenniFromDaGhetto5 жыл бұрын
MVP first of all there is a lot of history that proves that the holocaust did in fact happened there is video proof for Christ’s sake. There is also American soldiers from that time that tell their stories when they were stationed in Germany. HOW IN THE HELL ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO GET AN AUTOPSY REPORT IF THE DOCTORS WERE ALL DIRTY? they killed thousands! Plus all of the paper work was destroyed before the Americans went to kill all of those nasty nazis. Please, please, please inform yourself and have a little more compassion towards humanity.

Hullo There there are people who have different problems, yet it doesn’t mean yours or other people’s pain is not valid. I come from an abusive family for example, are you going to turn to a person and say their experience is less worse than his? You don’t how it feels like to have this or that kind of pain, and just as I imagine how horrible it must have been to be in a concentration camp and totally validate it as I realize also that many people are slowly forgetting about the evil that unfolded at the hands of nazi Germany. But on an equal note, why must we pit each other’s pain against one another to see whose struggles are worse? Many things can easily traumatize you and leave a scar behind. Don’t invalidate others’ experiences because you have no idea what they went through and what internal battle they’re still fighting.

I love this man. Months ago, I had the honor of interviewing holocaust survivors at an art exhibition. One stood out in partitcular, a woman named kitty. With very little prompting, she told me about how she had known the woman that I had drawn, and sold her a few paintings when she ran an art gallery with her husband. One of the things she said really stood out to me though. In her official picture on whatever website the pictures came from, kitty said that the photographer wouldn't let her smile. I explained that that was the reason I had drawn the woman I had- she had this tiny, almost mischievous smile, separating her from the rest. We both agreed it made her seem even stronger, after surviving Auschwitz. I asked kitty if she liked her picture, and she said no, it simply wasn't her. The person that she was was always smiling, seeing the positive on things, so to see herself expressionless made her very sad. In the end, I offered to take her picture, just with my phone, and ask my schools art teacher to print that one out instead. Her reaction when I asked if she was okay with that almost brought me to tears. She stood there, stunned, and soon replied enthusiastically. To this day I still get really emotional when I think of that night. I still have kitty's picture saved to my phone. That was really long but idk why I felt like it needed to be shared.

I'm crying right now. This man has such an emotional story to tell and I can't express how it makes me feel in words so water pours from my eyes instead. I am so glad he survived because this man made me realise how lucky I really am. My great great great grandparents and their family were Jewish and came over to Spain where they had to convert to Catholism. If they decided to go a few hundred miles up north, they would be in Germany, where they would have suffered. I don't know when they came to Spain, but I am so grateful and this man has made me realise this. To the people who are racist and can only hate this man, I feel sorry for you because the pain he went through was heartbreaking and I don't understand how any human can hate him. Only just now have my tears dried and now if I just hear his voice I will cry again, so unfortunately I won't watch this for a long time. If you found this video somehow educative and/or have respect for this elderly person I recommend you do NOT scroll through these comments. Maybe you are looking for someone with the same opinion, maybe for someone who actually has respect for victims of such terrible event as is holocaust. That's why I'm warning you: You will not find people like this here. Instead you'll find bunch of trolls and ungrateful little kids who do not know how to be proud and at least have some sense of shame. Subjects like holocaust are a serious matter, not some kind of comedy which you can make fun of. Millions of innocent people died without any actual reason. It's obviously something you shouldn't make fun of. Yet you'll still find attention whores and little kids who can't comprehend meaning of word "death" or "serious". THAT'S WHY NO MATTER WHAT, DON'T SCROLL THROUGH THESE CANCEROUS COMMENTS AND DON'T LET THEM RUIN YOUR DAY. Just be happy that you heard an interesting story from the most scariest point of view and that you'll know how to value others from now on. You never know what the other person is/was going through in their life.

I'm from Austria and I am so sorry for all the people who were killed during the holocaust. I actually like my country but that's just a part of our history I'd like to forget. But it's important to not forget what happended and to tell people what damage something like that can make! I still don't understand how something so terrible was able to happen... and the worst thing is that there are still happening terrible things in our world. But thanks buzzfeed for this video! I think that telling and showing people what WW2 and the holocaust caused will open some peoples' eyes, I hope so...

We will never let you or Germans forget. I don't care how much you want to erase it, you won't. You butchered my family, put my grandfather in Auschwitz along with his parents, death sister and two brothers who you later on murdered. My dad, his mother and siblings starved, all of their money, belongings and properties were taken from them by force upon my grandfather's seizing and subsequent taking to KL. So no, there is no forgetting this. It has to be remember.

My math teacher’s father is Werner Kleeman who wrote “From Dachau to D-day”. He was a Jew who lived in a Jewish village in Germany. His own friends and the people he trusted betrayed the neighborhood and kidnapped the Jews. Months after he got to a camp, he was chosen luckily to leave the camp and moved to America where he later fought for the US army. He used his German heritage to his advantage. He helped the army find out plans of the Nazis and helped save the lives of his group. He later avenged the people that betrayed him and sent them to camps to show them what they did to the Jews

Thank you for doing this wonderful video of David Wisnia. He reminds me of my own father, David Marin, who survived Auschwitz and several labor camps. Our family was blessed to have him until he died on March 12, 2024, 13 days before his 101st birthday. He, too, was also joyful, passionate about this beautiful country and always hopeful, despite his horrific past.
