Wow, twisting the end with the metal tip is so smart! I used to pipe butter rosettes and this would’ve saved me so much cleanup!

Yoooo. I needed to see this! I make a absolute mess piping and I am at my wits end. I tried the putting it in the glass thing before but I ended up pushing the tip up into the bag which was a disaster OR it all leaks out. Just twisting it is a game changer for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I keep my piping tip in an empty bag on the outside, to avoid couplers. So I'll put frosting into bags and then swap the bags into that empty bag with the piping tip. I hope that makes sense 😅

This would have been so good to know when I filled the bag with custard and it spilled everywhere from the bottom

Mess is when we run out of cream in half way of piping and then have to refill the bag with more cream😅

Try laying it flat on counter and use a bench scraper or something similar and squeegee the frosting down towards the tip. There might still be a thin film of frosting but it should be considerably cleaner to refill.

I get so frustrated because my frosting either won't come out or it's all melted. No idea what I'm doing wrong 😢
@nyxdef
@nyxdef Жыл бұрын
Could be too chunky or thick for the size tip you have. If its melted, you might have hot hands. Easy fix for this is to make 2 bags of the same color and store one bag in the fridge. When the bag you are working with starts getting too soft or melty, switch the bags.
