Something you just said I know will literally be a game changer for me- instead of counting my success on what my weighing scales are telling me each morning, rather count my success on whether I stuck to my goals that day. I have been doing my daily workout targets etc but completely dismissing then as being successful if the weighing scales have gone up that day! I am putting my weighing scales away and have changed my mindset so a big thank you! ❤

I'm so glad to hear this resonated with you! That realisation changed everything for me. It's so much easier to be consistent when you feel like you're in charge of your success 🥰

This video is one of my favourites I think I've ever watched on KZbin! What a healthy way to look at well being 💕 I have put on weight the last year or so I think just due to getting older but I have found that if I'm getting movement into my day/week I care less about what the scale says. I'll be saving this to give me a motivation boost when I need it!! Thank you ❤️ xx

I've never watched a full video on health and fitness from start to finish can I class this as my first step to a healthier mindset??😂 seriously the realisation for me I've had is i do not listen to my body when I'm full, I can be halfway through a meal and know I should stop but I don't, its like mentally I have to finish my food either because I've made more than one portion or that iv opened it now I should finish it so I can throw the packaging away 😩 I'm trying to make a conscious effort to better myself its hard though 😊❤

To me, that definitely counts as your first step! 😂 I totally relate to wanting to clear your plate. For most of my life, I would just keep eating until everything was gone, even if it made me uncomfortably full. One thing I've found that helps is to just practise pausing. When you start to get full, tell yourself, "I'm just going to sit for a minute and see how I feel." Then it's easier to consciously choose whether to keep eating or not. It's hard to undo those habits but you will get there ☺️💕

Love this! The “why” is so true, I’ve been trying to find motivation recently, I think a huge part is because I haven’t truly thought about what my why is yet ❤️

Having a solid why is so powerful. When motivation runs out, your why will keep you going 🥰

Thank you so much for this video, Aimee. I am just starting my journey to becoming healthier and I found it incredibly reassuring to hear a fellow millennial describe all the same ingrained negative ideas I have about food and weight loss, and how to completely smash them to pieces. You look so much happier and more vibrant in your videos recently. I aspire to follow in your footsteps! 💪💜🏃♀

This is really, really good advice. I have a complicated relationship with food as well. I stopped weighing myself 2 years ago now. I always got so down on myself if I was even an smidge heavier and felt like a total failure. I don’t get that feeling anymore. I do more intuitive eating these days, less calorie counting, no weighing, and a ton of waking.

It's so easy to let the scales get you down and I'm glad you're past that ☺️

Thank you for making this video. I’ve been feeling stuck lately with my weight, and it does feel like my own impatience is sabotaging me. I’m going to try doing this method. I always put myself on an unreasonable time crunch, and in the last few years of doing that maybe if I had taken it slower I would already be where I was trying to get. Thank you for the reminder. I’ve cut out drinking almost entirely too, and wine hangovers have always been the worst for me. Haha. I can have mixed drinks and beer and bounce back like nothing happened. Wine and mead are a completely different story.

I'm so glad it helped. The time is going to pass either way so you may as well take it slow and make things more manageable. I am beyond all hope with any alcohol now. When I was younger, I used to get hangovers from spirits. Now it's literally everything except those hard seltzers. And even then I can only manage a couple 🙈

@@AimeeRebecca that’s a great point. It’s clear that trying to speed run it is not the way to go with this. Haha I’m probably the same with alcohol now. I only drink it when I visit my husband’s family. It’s just not worth it if I’m home. I don’t feel like wasting one of my weekend days recovering, and I don’t want to waste my calories on it either.

Hello Aimee Rebecca, I would love to buy your 'This time next year' planner, but apparantly it cannot be shipped to Belgium via Amazon? Is there any other option to buy it? I'm not used to using Amazon, so maybe I'm doing something wrong? Kind greetings from Belgium!
@AimeeRebecca7 ай бұрын
Hi! For some reason to do with distribution, it's not able to be sold on the Belgian Amazon. You'd have to order from amazon.com instead and that should work ☺️ Hope that helps amzn.to/3L6k5l3

@@AimeeRebecca Hi, thank you for the answer - I did manage now to order, but via the UK version. Price was different there (i.e. little bit cheaper 🙈, so I chose that option 😏... Kind greetings
