I'm so glad I'm not alone in the books. I have been decluttering and letting go of EVERYTHING from my childhood until now, and planning to move in a suitcase (hence searching for your video!) But... but books )'': I'm tearing up as I write this haha. Where I'm going is the most perfect place to read! So I am having a dilemma!

Sara Mari Hey! Nice to hear from you 🥰❤️✨ hopefully the Video helped or inspired you! About the books: I totally understand that.. 🥺 I teared up so many times, letting go of so many materialistic things. But remember it’s just „things“ that you always could buy again. The stories of the books are in your heart anyways. Additionally your friends or family could always send you some books via mail afterwards. I don’t think I mentioned it, but my family actually got me an ebook reader, since I was so upset about the books I left behind. (I am so looking forward to my mom visiting and hopefully bringing some books. AND my first trip back to Germany, taking as much books as possible 😂) But for now I am in love with the ebook reader, since it is linked to German book stores and therefore allows me to buy books in my mothertongue (while not having to spend a fortune) 🥰

Awesome vid! A realistic and simple list of items you brought with you. I kept watching packing, moving abroad, and minimalist videos hoping someone packs their memorabilias with them in a box and this is the first video I found in almost 6 months of looking because I plan to bring my keepsake box that I bought online last year because it started as a small t-shirt box then became a big shoebox so I bought a decent size of a wooden-like box that I want to bring with me when I move abroad after I graduate college in early 2023. (hopefully🤞)

Thanks Yosef! I’m glad we think alike. It’s important to take some things you’re emotionally attached to, even when it’s “garbage” to minimalists. I love getting it out once or twice a year and see if anything new was added, to look at the old things and indulge in nostalgia. Also, that wooden box sounds so cool. 😱 Did you buy it online? Crossing my fingers for your graduation! I’m sure you’re going to be just fine. 🤞🏻♥️

@@TheSimpleSprinkle Thank you! That means a lot! 🥰 I totally agree with the nostalgia! and yeah it bough it online. 😊 If you plan to buy one for yourself, only tip I can give so you'll know how big you'll actually need is for you to measure the biggest/longest and widest item you've got, 😄 then measure the height of your items all stacked altogether based on your teddy bear. Mine is somewhat minimal since it doesn't exactly have a design. I only taped a picture I printed inside it. Hope this helped. Stay safe!😁

I'm moving in 2,5 months or so and I seriously need to minimise all my clothing options I think haha. Glad to hear I have almost similar strategy as you though!

Hi I was wondering what Native American beliefs helped you let go. Are there any books or articles you would recommend? Thank you

One of my best friends family follows the believe of Lakota Tribe - everything I know I learned in person through conversations and during ceremonial weekends. Other than that I watched a bunch of documentaries here on KZbin, visited the exhibition “Native Voices” in SLC and just googled around. 🙈♥️ I hope that may has helped you.
