Love this topic :) I learned a lot of this when I was backpacking and carrying around way too much crap on my back lol, but I've definitely changed my style to be more classic (but still unique to me), like you said. For example, I own orange sneakers, which wouldn't fit the classic "minimalist wardrobe style" we see online but it fits mine and I wear them a lot. Also just wanted to add the marketing stuff was interesting, I've only ever taken one marketing class (not in the US) and the ideal self was a cool way to introduce the topic!

Thanks Nadia! That’s interesting to hear that that same thing happened to you 😂 sneakers are so comfy. Life if too short not to wear what you want

I experienced the same thing when I moved to Australia while on my WHV. What happens to your identity when you move overseas or travel is fascinating!!

All of this is such an interesting topic! I was just thinking about this the other day. I feel like I don't even know my "style" yet because of all the influences around me and comparisons and not liking how things fit. Same with packing. I always wondered how study abroad students even DECIDED what to bring lol

Currently packing to go home to the UK for spring break, almost through my year abroad in Vermont, US :)
