I put duck tape over my firewall holes then poke a hole in the duck tape. Helps seal for heat too in the winter and keeps the wire from touching the firewall and getting cut

Duct tape only lasts like a year and its junk. Old tape was great but modern duct tape sucks

Have p1000 code and truck dies going in reverse sometimes and sometimes park. No other codes sometimes runs fine. Abs module and pats won't communicate either.

I just bought one of these controllers and will install it this weekend. USShift sure takes their time getting their product out the door but if it fixes my problems it's worth it.

@@rickyflores4070 So far so good. The shifting feels different but i guess that's to be expected. We can't make the cruise control work. I was told i need a a manual transmission wiring harness. If anyone knows differently or has a solution to this please post.

Steve is this called a Bauman or a Bonham controller? I havea 97 F350 4x4 7.3. I parked it 7 years ago cuz I didn't have the money to fool with it now I'm trying to get it going again cuz my 2012 got stolen. I remember a Bauman controller that I had looked at but I can't seem to find it anywhere doing a search . Also a search for Bonham is not coming up with it anything. 🤔

I’m fighting my 1996 F350 Diesel. Bought it as a parts truck, and stuck a new transmission in it (it only had reverse) now it move forward but the shifting is wack. What were the symptoms of this van before you fixed it?

But there's another trick I learned on my 1990 Fox 2 if I start to power break at let's say and I'm in first gear and it's automatic if I get it spinning past 25 miles per hour I can shift it up to second year but when I do it will shift from 2nd into 3rd on its own while I'm still in second so it won't lock into second but if I get it power breaking in first after 25 and go to Second really fast and then pull it back down into first and keep it floored it will lock into second gear in while power brakein and not shift to 3rd it is locked in second until I slow down past 25 mile per hour then it will drop into first on its own but It's Tricky so basically if you put the car into second gear and take off from a light it will shift into 3rd unless you do the quick Shuffle floor in first with the automatic shifter in first get past 25 mile per hour keep foot on throttle up shift to second while you're in the second shift position on the shifter pull it back down into first position before it shifts into third on its own and then it's locked into second gear until you upshift it to D or you slow down to 25 miles per hour kind of lawn but I wanted you to kind of lawn but I wanted you kind of lawn but I wanted you to understand kind of lawn but I wanted you to understand it's kind of a long note but I wanted to try to help people understand what I'm talking about there is a little lucky trick to the automatic 90 GT where I can just smolder second gear and have it not shift at all but there's a trick LOL

Yeah dude, that's the old 1-2-1 AOD shuffle. It's not uncommon knowledge. My old 85 Lincoln Mark 7 LSC (Mustang HO powertrain but with 3.27 rear gear) I could do the 1-2-1 and just sit in place without even touching the brakes. I'm pretty sure that if I didn't shift into 3rd or eventually let up it wouldn't have stopped burning tires until one popped. I enveloped the front of a 2 story apartment building in smoke once with that car lol.
