How I FIXED Kingdom Hearts (Cloud Version) 1080p 60FPS

Xbox and PlayStation Remote play offer 1080p, 60fps and less delay on the go. :)

Oh dang I forgot you could remote play from a phone for ps/xb! Good to know, pinning this in case people want non-pc options If anyone is reading this in the future, use an Ethernet connection on the consoles for this~

i'd be fine with the cloud versions for kh3 and 2.8, but using cloud as an excuse to not spend money porting to switch doesn't sit right with me. if this was a temporary solution until they properly ported to the switch that would also be okay, but the idea that these games that could very easily run on the switch just won't be ported properly is kind of sad, esp since they just made a good pc port. since the cloud version wont be online forever, its like your paying a subscription for a game, just that its a lot of years at once, and you'll lose it at the end.

I just made a video touching on this, but I think it was a solution until they can get their mobile division (who's currently busy with the finale of Dark Road) to work on mobile ports of the games, if you're familiar with FF15 and FF7, they've both gotten this demake treatment so to speak. FF15 with Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition (released on Switch) FF7 with Ever Crisis coming to mobile soon™ and I'm sure Switch at a later date

They Saud it be too big for storage on switch but we have SD cards we just need one with big storage surly that would work melody of memory isn't cloud version I don't count that as an actual kingdom hearts game tbh

I didn't have any problems with it with the demos it was fine it was alright it worked perfectly fine, I'm not joking.

Same, other than it looking bad. I have about 300 download, 20 upload on my internet speeds. Mileage will vary with cloud gaming for sure. But unless they beef up the servers the games are playing from, they'll never look as good as hosting your own remote version sadly

I agree with people's opinions that a cloud version just kinda misses the mark and there are definitely better ways to port especially the older PS2/PSP ports. But I gotta be honest, I've tried the demo and I didn't experience any of the drop in picture quality or stutters many others do. Maybe my internet latency is just right for this cloud version, or I just got really lucky. Still decided there's not much point in picking them up, though...

I've only tried KH3, had no drops or warnings in regard to connection. That said, for me (unless they fixed it) the resolution for that specific demo feels like 600p or lower.. My internet is fairly capable on top of being stable 🙏 let's hope me saying that doesn't curse me like always LMAO

@@iAyeCaptainKai oof, yeah that's a bummer... Though even if your internet was perfect, Kingdom Hearts on switch is still a worse experience than any other platform so far... I think the current network infrastructures around the world are barely good enough for low-latency video streaming. Maybe within a decade or two, cloud game streaming will become truly possible and mainstream, but that doesn't mean I'm an advocate for it :3 I'll still always prefer to be able to play a game while fully disconnected from any online service.

I honestly don't have enough knowledge on Switch hacking to justify the trouble. At the end of the day this nearly requires a stable 5G wifi signal if not Ethernet to play "fluidly" My suggestion would be to test your internet speeds @ Fast.com personally I see speeds of 300 Mbps download / 30 Mpbs upload for my connection While Nintendo doesn't have a specification or recommended speed, other cloud gaming services suggest having at least 15Mbps download to achieve 720p. Hopefully this was informative 🙏

I understand that the games are meant to be cloud and it won’t really run on Switch natively. But no. It is NEVER meant to be run cloud. It doesn’t work like that. It is meant to play smooth. This is not smooth.

Normally I'd say screw piracy where available but if Square wants to drop this kind of a literal steaming pile on us then imma go ahead and tell people to just emulate. Phones are stupidly powerful now and the emulators on android based phones are getting super optimized. For the price of a controller and time spent on some tutorials you can still play most of these games on the go with most decent phones. 1 and 2 play and look better on my phone with AetherSX2, and Birth By Sleep also looks/plays better on my phone with PPSSPP. Not sure about the other games cause i just don't really care enough to play them but I'm sure there is options for those too.
