nice video. good to see someone making all these tutorials for reaper, thanks. I've been needing a way to remove noise in reaper but never knew of ReaFr. Also I've never done it myself, but one thing I've seen people do is build a noise profile from recording "silence" from the input. That way you get the buzz but no note playing as well.

Thank for watching. That method I haven't tried. But reafir works fairly well. I just used it on a podcast episode, to remove some background noise from the guest's end. What a life saver.

Oh! Thanks for reminding me about this plugin. But how did you make the floating guitar sound on track #1? Is this some kind of plugin? Or a guitar tremolo machine? Thanks!

At the time I was using guitar rig 5. I used a chorus effect on it. Thanks for watching! 👍🏽

I have a problem with a pick noise my guitar makes. It's almost like a "plink". Happens on palm mutes and sometimes on open picking. I kinda sounds like a video game sound from the late 80s early 90s. I no idea how to isolate and remove it. I play the guitar in my profile pic. It has active Seymour Duncan Blackout pickups. Do these have anything to do with it? Help me PLEASE my recordings sound like garbage.

It's hard to say it could be a few different things. The amount of gain, picking technique, palm muting technique. With something like that, you want to take care of it before recording. It's not the kind of thing you want to work on on post.
