Yes, I used to have the same problem (but our cat died at Christmas last year). I would love another one, even with the cat hair/framing problem!

Looks great I have similar the same frames with the metal clips but different woods and finishes. I buy them from a frame shop. Is that what you call a doble matt? I prefer that-it gives depth and substance to the artwork. I make salt prints and other old photographic prints and they look wonderful properly framed. They often have subtle tones and need the contrast with he matt to really accentuate them. Best wishes. :-)

I'm not sure if it's called doble matt- there's only one piece of mount board round the piece (though I know double mounting- with 2 mount boards round it can look amazing too- though a bit more expensive). Makes such a difference I find putting some space around a piece of work and getting it 'dressed up'
