We caught fish, a lot of fish, but more importantly to Mike and I was what you were willing to share with us and what you taught us. That’s an excellent question. Month,day,ricer flow (cfs), section of river fished, weather, notable changes, and general notes about where I found fish flies used and how I was rigged.

Professor, why am I seeing more and more people wearing nitrile gloves?

I can’t speak for everyone but when it’s 15 degrees it’s nice to be able to tie knots and handle fish without removing the slime coat. Also keeps your hands from getting wet and cold when handling fly line. I used to be a hater now I’m a believer.
