Thanks! Yeah this is how it apparently works for me 😊. What type of music do you make?
@HansuMyura
@HansuMyura 10 ай бұрын
@@tricks-and-tips That really depends on my mood and whether I'm making it for a certain audience. On my channel you can watch some videos I made a few years ago, these are single songs or songs for challenges and also live sets for online festivals (I just started making music again by the way).

Thanks. I have been thinking about doing more talking videos, but they are quite hard to make (for me at least) as I keep messing them up either forgetting parts, or talking rubbish.
@sonikronikElektronik
@sonikronikElektronik 8 ай бұрын
@@tricks-and-tips I think you should, if you want. I've done a bunch of talking videos on my own language else where, and how I did it was I scripted them all. That way I could stay focused and said only what was needed for the thing I was teaching. 😊

@@sonikronikElektronik Thanks, I thought about it, but I'm not sure how I can read the script and use my setup and keep my eyes on both at the same time. I did make a couple 'unscripted' ones and it was 'ok' but it was a lot of retakes.
@sonikronikElektronik
@sonikronikElektronik 8 ай бұрын
@@tricks-and-tips Even if it is scripted, there are retakes. 😊 How about putting the topics somewhere instead of the whole script? Just another thought (also used that in certain situation) Anyways, I don't think teaching videos have to be perfect. Nothing really is😁 If you want to make those videos, I would recommend you just do it. It'll get easier. 👏

Very inspirational and great to watch and listen to these jams 🤩 It would be really nice with a walkthrough of the wiring and the methods you use for looping and recording these jams. For example, how do you record a loop of an external synth into the MC-707; do you record it as a sample or as MIDI notes? And where in the audio chain do you plug in the effects pedal while jamming? Is each synth plugged into the MC-707? And so on… 😊

Hi Chris and thanks a lot! I have some videos about this. First a series of 3 on how I jam: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n2KlaWmVqKd5mpo kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHy3dGCde6-Wec0 kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2aTiJaHopellbc This explains in detail on how I use the 707 in my setup while making my jams. And then there is the routing part : kzbin.info/www/bejne/enPEfJSan7OSjM0 And I did a 'talking head' version of 'how I jam' which is more a general overview on how I make my jams. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qqDIaKOVr8Rsprc So grab a coffee or 10 and enjoy the ride :) If you have more questions, hook me up!

@@tricks-and-tips Hello again 👋 Just wanted to let you know I watched the videos, and I enjoyed them (both with and without a glass of wine 😆). Very informative, they answered a lot of my questions, and also entertaining. Generally in your videos I like the tempo and amount of information in the subtitles - I feel I have the time to digest the info while also having capacity to listen to the beautiful music. So great job, thank you for posting such nice content, and congratulations on the 2.5k follower milestone 😊
