a couple of other tips from someone who also got an a* (: - you don’t need to know the names of psychologists who did supporting studies (so anything you use for a03), you can just say ‘a psychologist’ - for research methods always write your answer to a question, then go back and add an extra sentence to EVERY question. They always want weirdly specific answers and for me it was that extra point that got me the mark. - if you struggle with stats tests look up ‘carrots should come mashed with swede under roast potato’ and thank me later -if flash cards aren’t your thing do essay plans instead (one a4 for each essay). You can basically work out all possible essays pretty much for each topic, so if you plan them that’s literally all your notes done.
@jamilrana41165 жыл бұрын
How many A01 points and A03 points did you do per essay plan on average? Thanks
@hannahg66275 жыл бұрын
Jamil Rana I never learnt a specific amount of a01, I’d just learn the essentials for each topic. For a03 I used to do 6-8 really brief ones because I personally found that much easier to remember than 3-4 in depth ones but that’s obviously very dependent on how you work and remember stuff

I always thought that typing it down was much easier because when I write down notes most of the time It doesn't feel organised for me and most of the time I would need to rewrite it to make it sound more sense and satisfying which just make everything long.

ASMRunicorn07 what you have to do to not flop is start now even if its year 12 content. Do not revise the day before. You have to spread out your revision. I didn’t do good this year. But what i did notice is the topics that i revised months before, i did good in. The ones i did the day before i failed. Start now! I did my a levels and flopping is the worst feeling.
