Happen to a friend of mine. They said there was no key but my friend bought it anyways. I told my friend how did they get the mileage if there is no key. Once he got a key made, It's one thing if they said around 150,000 miles but to be specific on the number of miles with no key. I told him they scammed you and you didn't catch it.

You can hook your laptop to a vehicle and get the miles from the ecm. Depending on if the cluster was original or not or if it was flashed properly to go with the vin to sync up so to speak the setting is a must.

Not sure how you were dooped when you bought it as a non runner. I learned a long time ago always inspect a car before you buy it. Used car sales are some of easiest ways to get taken. Sorry it didn't work out and use it as a lesson learned.

did you not watch the video? he put in big letters at the end he paid 2500 for it and sold it for 1000$

The hole in the side of the engine could've been due to the oil pickup tube only on the AWD. When you launch the Stock AWD it starves the engine of oil and causes holes in the side of the block. PCMOFNC has a reverse pickup tube and baffle you can add to the stock oil pan for around $300. The scary thing is I have an 07 TBSS and have no idea if that was changed so I run an extra quart of oil just in case!!!

@damonmason26504 жыл бұрын
Considering the life I have led of twice ending up homeless and alone because I tried to be an uncle to my brother's daughter, getting a non-running vehicle unto which to practice DIY auto repair is a good thing to have happen. You could have dismantled that sports utility vehicle and sold off the parts, compadre.

You don't think it's worth just finding some stock shit to throw in there, at least make it a running driving sale?
