Trailblazer SS Gets HEADERS!!! Stainless Works Long Tubes

Long over due for this TBSS. Manifolds were ticking and he wanted some more sound, so Stainless Works hooked him up with long tube headers and some high flow cats!! The sound is AMAZING!!

I've got the same exhaust system. Doing mine the same way. Did the cat back first. Waiting to get my cam before I install headers. Sounds great!!! Keep up the good work guys!!

Never rely on jack stands , please keep the jack under the truck under load just in case the jack stands come off.

I had long tube headers put in my 06 SS. Sounds amazing but I was wondering, was there any difference in shifting? Any transmission tuning?

Change out those exhaust gaskets to OEM ones. Aftermarket gaskets always leak. Get some ceramic plug wires too. Good chance you're gonna melt those

They are still oem gaskets brand new

Agreed, I've burned through multiple "quality" wires and heat socks, but those ceramic jackets wires actually hold up much better for me.

I have a 2006 blazer lt 5.3 i got headers for it but I can only can one engine mount which is the drivers side, and the passenger is super hard to get little to none, just wondering if I have to raise the motor up or just force the headers in, thanks

Yeah maybe 20 or 30 horse, depending on vehicle and the headers. Also benefits future mods

Exhaust manifold bolts broke, so it had a leak. And no haven’t done the oil pan mod yet but he does what to do it

@@Shooff3.4 the ported headlight made my truck rowdy, it only takes 10 minutes with a Dremel. Must do mod, and I put an extra quart of oil in mine until I get the oil pan baffle done. Tell him use Pennzoil ultra platinum but had to be the ultra

Tighe depends if you want to go the long tube header route, then yes

Tighe they are more for performance and sound, will change the sound of the truck by a lot and also gives you more air flow and allows for more power and gives each exhaust port it’s own escape

Weld a nut to the stud, and spin it out

Is the stud inside or outside of the head? Like where did it break off

Oh gotcha, it all depends on where they break. If they break outside of the head you can get a twist socket on it and twist it out

Just need a pair of twist sockets. They grab on to the stud as you turn it and pull the stud with it

Yeah they are called twist sockets, the ones we used were snap on but you can get them anywhere
