FYI, the Ocean Resort Casino tier matching from Hardrock’s Rock Royalty only applies to new members or current members that have been inactive for at least 12 months.

Got a late 2022 update on this for anyone still reading. I managed to do the MGM match since they extended it to the end of 2022. If you're military, you can get the fancy version of the MGM gold card (or any other status you have). By being military, it guarantees that your status won't ever drop below pearl, which I guess doesn't matter much for us folks who already have a Hyatt card. If you're on the status match carousel, you'll be renewing to gold too. Caesars also has a military card, but it's only platinum. You'll still want to get it if you're military affiliated because there are some discounts you can get regardless of status. I have the regular diamond card plus that platinum military card. I tried getting the Wynn card, but the lady at the rewards desk said that they stopped status matching last year. That's kinda weird because Ben posted this in 2022 as well. I hope she wasn't just being a punk. Maybe I'll stop by there again later and see if there's someone else working. Hard Rock (the hotel) doesn't exist anymore in Vegas. It has been replaced by Virgin.

You gotta read the latest info on blogs, in the past Borgata was the only property you could match at for MGM. For sometime in 2022 they opened it up to everywhere (e.g. MGM grand or bellagio in vegas) but that may have ended now

Please note: Caesar match has to be done online. Not in person! Learned my lesson the hard way

Correct, you match online, then pick up the physical card in person. But you need to leave sufficent time, since it can take up to 2 weeks to match. Mine took about two days

That is correct, status match on the Wyndham website (e.g. Hilton Gold to Wyndham Diamond) has been suspended since 2020. But the status match tool on the Caesars website is very much alive. So you can use Caesars site to match Wyndham diamond to Caesars diamond. And yes, if you wanted you can match MGM to Caesars, but you need MGM gold for Caesars diamond

I wonder if Ocean matched due to a mistake. Their match guide online says Ocean Prime is matched to Hard Rock Rock Royalty X, which is different from Rock Royalty and is Invite only. The free cruise is actually the most valuable of all, well I guess depending on the fine prints and how much you like/dislike cruising. Their 180,000 GWT ship for 7 nights is like 500-900pp.

Their guide doesn’t say that. It says they match to Rock Royalty AND X card. Same with MGM, they match to Platinum AND Noir. There is no status called “Platinum Noir” same as there is no status called “Rock Royalty X”, so just think of it like rock royalty and above or for MGM its platinum and above

If you have Wyndham diamond and you match with Caesar. You dont get diamond anymore. Its now the platinum.
