Hi. I really like how you think. Hope you do more videos about geology, about your career. I'm from Romania and I graduated from geology/geochemistry, a few yearsss ago.! Thinking about my future in another country. I live in USA and I have not decided yet, but I am thinking moving to Canada in future. Glad I found you ! You are quite interesting and different in a good way from others on youtube. I hope you will post more about this field, about how is life in Canada, a normal day at your job if you are allowed(but I dont think so), more about how expensive is to live in Canada, student life, if an MBA degree is a good idea even if someone has a geology degree, If someone with a geology degree from Europe is recognised in Canada etc! Thank you!

Hello Crenguta, thank you for your comment. I just posted a Q&A video and I have addressed some questions about studying in Canada in that video so check it out if you get a minute. Also, I am making a whole video about being a Geologist next week so stay tuned :)

Hi there. I am a geologist from Brazil. My mother tongue is portuguese. Reading geology textbooks was very useful when I was an underdraduate student. I used to learn both geology and english at the same time. I am trying to improve my speaking skills now. Thanks for the video.

Thank you sooooooo much for your support. I am so glad to see you watch my videos. I just recently started to learn Korean and applying all of my tricks and tips I used to learn English to try and learn Korean. I find Korean much harder...hahaha :) Japanese is very cool too. I am hoping one day to get at least the basics :) Are you learning it at school or just for fun by yourself?
@dangelaf.lucarelli82706 жыл бұрын
Shy Lama Japanese is not available at my school, so I'll be taking it at my local college. It will count as credit for school, but I am learning it mostly for fun. I love the culture! Good luck with Korean. It is a complex yet beautiful language! Listening to K-Pop may help :) I can count to ten in Korean, but that's all I remember from taekwondo haha 😅
@ShyLama6 жыл бұрын
Lol, K-Pop is actually a pretty good idea, I used to listen to it a long time ago, I will look into it again :) Thank you :) Good luck with Japanese as well, from what I heard from couple of my friends that can speak both Korean and Japanese the two languages a somewhat similar.

@ShyLama6 жыл бұрын
Hi Anya!!! That is so great. How old were you when you got adopted? Do you remember any Russian? I find that even though I came to Canada when I was a teenager I often find it is hard to talk in Russian as I do not remember some of the more complicated words....lol. I often start my sentence in Russian and finish it in English :)
@anyanonnenman2566 жыл бұрын
Shy Lama I was 5 years old when I got adopted so I picked up English easily. I do speak Russian not like a native would, but fairly well. I went to Russian school for many years. Actually, I used quite a few of the tips you’ve shared in this video to keep up my Russian and learn new vocabulary. That happens to me too and weirdly, I dream in Russian a lot of the time.
@ShyLama6 жыл бұрын
That is absolutely incredible. It is so good to be able to speak more than one language and it is awesome that your parents helped you to remember Russian :) I just started a Russian channel in Russian language and sometimes I find it very hard to find the right words...hahaha
