Hi! What kind of awards/honours did you receive and did you do any business-related programs?

I earned International and state awards for FPS, presidential volunteer service, dance, and academic clubs (debate, etc.) awards. Basically, I tried to get an award for every club I joined :). I only started my own businesses and I didn't do DECA, but I did go to two business summer programs at Berkeley and University of Houston. this video was so useful! i just had a quick question if you don’t mind. emory is my dream school and most parts of my application are strong except for my ap scores. although i did get a handful of fours and fives, and did good in the classes, most of my scores are threes and fours. do you think this will negatively impact me at all.

did you apply ED anywhere? and did you end up getting into Stern?

i applied ED to Upenn Wharton and I was rejected ;-; i didn't get off the waitlist for Stern but I know people with similar stats as me who got in bc they filled out the waitlist form asap and i filled it out the day of the deadline so that might be why. for carnegie, i filled it out really fast and that's probably why i got off the waitlist for carnegie and not Stern. i hope this helps! :D

are you a freshman and in 7th grade? generally freshmen are in 9th grade. anyway all your grades average other eventually so if you start getting good grades from now on, you'll be fine !! :D

hey !! ap bio at my hs was 10x easier so i would take bio if you need to boost ur gpa but if you enjoy chem more then u should it ;) i hope that was helpful

i actually did not 😳 my business was really casual lol but even now when i talk about it in interviews, companies still acknowledge it as relatively impressive?? i feel like it just depends on how you word it
