Loved this video! I have a question though: I'm currently a first year in college and I'm a little confused on the transfer credit policies? It says "Transfer credit will not be granted for college-level course work taken while enrolled at the secondary level or in the summer ". For example, if I got a 5 in AP-Lang and my college moved me into a more advance course, will the advanced course count as credit? If not, do I have to take the prerequisite for that class? Thank you!

@@mikamoon-d9l aww thank you 🥰if you took a more advanced course bc of an ap course you did in hs, it should transfer over but it does depends on which upenn school you are transferring to! I was transferring into Penns school of nursing. For example, I took a psych stat course they was considered more advanced than the beginner psych course at CWRU and was able to get nursing stat credit at penn for it. It all depends on the class/ prof at Penn since each class is reviewed by a case by case basis using penns external transfer credit system, XCAT.

Hi! Many hospitals allow you to take on the CNA role without having to have the certifications if you are enrolled in a nursing school/have finished med surg! My first year, I was considered a nursing assistant II. The hospital I worked at was good with me being a NA II because I was enrolled in a BSN program. I would check with local hospitals and see what the requirements are bc you may be able to work without doing the CNA course/getting certified from the state!
