Hi! do the letters of rec have to be specific to that hospital/unit? for example, does the person writing the letter have to mention why they think I am a good fit for the CICU (or whatever unit I am interested in)? or can I just use the same letters of rec from professors/clinical instructors?

Hi Valerie! I would have letters specific to the hospital and unit that you are applying for, only because you want to tailor your cover letter and resume toward the type of unit that you are applying for. You can definitely use the same letters of recommendation from your professors and clinical instructors. I hope this helps!
