The Mizunos are amazing boots and I'm assuming $500 AUD is very close to retail. That's something you have to justify to yourself though. BHM Vapors weren't that limited. No official numbers provided by Nike. If you're buying any desirable boots in the resale market, what they're worth and what you're willing to pay is totally up to you and how badly you want them.

The way my brother and I would buy boots would be to take a look at the sellers ratings. If its not 100% you gotta check out why. Always be careful when dealing with sellers with no or low seller rating.

Seller ratings isn't don't always make the seller credible. You can find plenty of sellers on ebay who strictly sell counterfeit boots that have 100% feedback.

I bought the recent Bape ultraboost that came out in the grey color from some guy on Instagram for $250 (alarming as retail price) and paid with Apple Pay and got scammed and they never showed up. I could’ve got them on eBay for same price of $250 and they had pics with tags and my size and everything and the guy had good reviews so I had a chance to receive real ones at least but I’m mad and got money back though which is good and nice video.

You can't predict how long any boots will last. In general, they tend to hold up quite well though.
