The amount of attention to detail in every aspect of these plugins is unbelievable!

I absolutely love ML Drums ! This is my go to library for drums My Favourite feature is having the different tunings actually recorded for the snares

Short answer : Yes .. ML Drums is the best sounding drum library

First band had an old green Yamaha drumkit. Remember that so well. Despite Yamz being red I bought it anyway, and got to re-live those early band days. I mean I ADORE that Grit kit (that thing is serious punk magic) but the Yamz kit can accurately be described as "drums that sound good for your band." Whatever you're playing, I doubt you could get Yamz to sound "wrong."

I've been ML Drums and it sounds awesome and more human than other software. Just a quick idea, i think you guys should consider develop ML Bass or ML Acoustic which way more affordable but sounds amazing. Just a suggestion. Tq

I agree that the Black Beauty had more low end punch while the Black Magic has a bit more of that powerful transient attack. All of these samples were captured so well. Makes me happy 💖

The M-Custom 14"x5.5" at 290hz is my idea of a perfect snare. These are so well sampled.

Would be cool if you could add triggers to snares and kicks, if you do so, perhaps add some really good stock triggers that are 100% in phase with the samples, I'd like to have some dirty smack on my kick and some crunchy punch on my snare, perhaps adding this as an add on would be cool, I would probably buy it. Perhaps even round robin triggers with small sonic variations would be cool to avoid robotic machinegun sounds.

hey i just bought yamz and meld a few days ago, loving it! are you planning on doing a tama drums expansion? lars ulrich signature sounds maybe?
@mlsoundlab8 ай бұрын
Essentials is based on Tama! But I think we might have something Tama-based on the to-do list as well. 😊

On your next library can you at the benny greb mini hats and ad some more stacks like you have on the meld. That would be amazing! My go to now on production is the benny greb mini hats and the matt halpern sig stack. They sound fit!

Love the snare selects on yams. The only shame is there isn't samples with the snares turned off, that would have been cool af

what I don’t like about sampled drums is they mess up the dynamics like some round robins are weaker when it really goes against the groove. like a vsti bass with random upstrokes.
@mlsoundlab8 ай бұрын
Completely depends on how consistant the drummer was sampling. So it varies from vsti to another. Also big part of the humanizing is that you are supposed to get some realistic variance but it shouldn't be too obvious unless you have super fast drumming.

Btw, why does the A-Noobie hihat look bigger than the rest of the 14" hats, even though it's supposed to be 14" too?

Must be an optical illusion 😢 We'll look into it. 😂

Why are there no numbers to create a drum map. There is only the key letters and that is difficult to use to drum map.

This is awesome, but I don't know how to get the preset (already downloaded) onto Ml Drums... would someone mind letting me know? I can't find the folder with the ML Drums presets (I own all expansions)
@mlsoundlabАй бұрын
Place the file into the C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Roaming\ML Sound Lab\ML Drums folder if you're on PC, or the /Users/Your Name/Library/Application Support/ML Sound Lab/ML Drums/Presets folder if you're on Mac -Kai

@@mlsoundlab I really appreciated, Kai. However, I do not have an AppData folder in C:\users\myself. When I search "ML Drums" in c:\ I get nothing (??). I sent a quick ticket to ML Sounds Lab through the website, maybe you'll be able to help me there. I have all ML drums packs installed and working, I can recall presets and save my own without a problem, so they are somewhere! I just can't fine them. Anyway, not a big deal. Thanks for your help as always!
