Hey Miko, any IR from your packs that you can recommend for cleans ? I do metal but the band is going to play a few covers that require clean tones. Any IR you can recommend ? Help.

I purchased the MARS TV pack. I think it sounds good on its own, but I'm liking it even more when blended with an IR from the MARS MOFO pack, for roaring, snarling metal rhythm.

i got it as an software exe (standalone not vst). I cant record with it in ableton. What am I doing wrong`?
@mlsoundlab10 сағат бұрын
The installer should've placed the VST3 file into the correct directory on your machine to be used with Ableton, please check your VST3 folder to ensure that it was installed. If not, re-run the installer. If it was installed and your DAW isn't finding it, try re-scanning. -Kai

Thanks. A big day for putting my Amped Flagship in action with Blackstar Live Logic footswitch. Did not know that my purchase of Amped Flagship was so proficient at the time in 2021. covering also the use of footswitch. Great job guys.

Thanks man, this vid has helped me so much! Only thing im having trouble with is the volume between saved presets in my amped block letter. I want to have a clean and a distorted channel, but the master volume always stays the same, so the distorted channel always is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay louder than the clean one :( Is there a way to have a set volume in presaved channels? Greetings from germany and thanks for your help!

I'm having the same issue as all the other Alesis drum kit owners. My question is: Under the Midi Preset menu, what do the abbreviations, AD, EZD3, GGD, GM, SD, SSD5 stand for? None of them seem to correspond to any known midi percussion mapping standard.

Not a complaint, but maybe a future tweak. All of the snares have the same bottom wire sizzle level, the ability to adjust, remove, or even super wild, would be the ability to tighten them and choke the bottom head a bit, not loose and raspy, like I used to run. I know the last one is asking a lot, probably not feasible yet, what do expect from a drummer tho. I really like your approach with your drum vi

how can I add this on GarageBand?
@sword-and-shield5 күн бұрын
Got anything. vid wise with the snares doing at least a 8 hit snare roll? its the true test of the sampler and the samples with me. Rolling kicks are easy to get, but rolling on them snares not sounding robotic, not so easy, and yes I know all the processing tricks to humanize midi snare hits. I am liking what I am hearing outside that, for sure.

Thanks for asking about it - I can't think of any videos where we've done this for the Luxe pack, but our friend eDrums and VSTs has shown off our ML Drums packs a few times. This should give you a good idea of the velocity layers - played with an E-Kit is akin to programming drums at the highest level of humanisation. -Kai kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZbYhoGol52hjtEsi=fowN3e0pxjT4xxhG&t=229

I’m old school but want to know if you run this from computer to expensive speakers or into an actual amplifier?
@mlsoundlab8 күн бұрын
This is essentially simulating your cabinet section - you can either run an amp simulator before it, or run a real amp into a load box, then into MIKKO2. -Kai

Can an IR be made to sound clean with light playing and distorted with heavier playing? Can it do edge of breakup that is expressive?
@mlsoundlab9 күн бұрын
That kind of distortion would come from your amp section - IRs are made to be completely clean -Kai

ML makes great IR packs but I was hoping for something different than another V30 pack. What about a pack based on a Marshall cab loaded with G12 65 speakers? Ownhammer offers their own G12 65 IRs but it’d be cool to hear ML’s take on one

There is no "Classic Mercedes" of guitars. When you buy a LP it's nothing like the old LP guitars with the super light and resonant Mahogany and the glue that was hardening like glass. They look similar but they are cheaply made mass produced guitars with cheap wood that is heavy and stubborn and the glues used aren't what they used to be, just like there is no attention to detail (fret jobs...etc). IF you find a LP or Strat that was made back in the 50's it's a completely different story but things aren't the same. Also, a Grosh, a Lipe or a Tom Anderson guitar would be a Subaru? I think you got good at making plugins but maybe the more philosophical part of how guitars should be viewed should be left to people who really know their stuff. Of course everyone is entitled to an opinion but how valid or credible are most people's opinions...?
@zafira97618 күн бұрын
The small amp is better, a lot clearer, less focused and tighter in the low end. Not to mention the clean tones and the crunchy purple channel. Michael needs to give is an Astro 40 or 50 for bigger gigs but in the same compact size...and light weight if possible

I can use VST plugins, but I am unable to make ML Amp work, as a plugin or standalone. Can someone point me to where I can learn how to make it work? I have Focusrite as my USB interface, Ableton as my DAW, Audacity, Melodyne Studio 5 and several other audio editors.
