Hi! Great videos you got here. I do have a tip, however: never upload 1080p to KZbin. Export at 4k or 1440p (upres if you have to). KZbin's 1080p bitrates are too low.

Thats a pretty cool commercial. Thanks for showing your style on how you grade your work. Is there any particular reason why you put your balance/exposure node inside the parallel nodetree and not before in a seperate node?

I always tell you what I am doing in this one. If you need precise values, I can tell you that that wont get you far. Every footage will be different in terms of balancing, saturation etc. You have to develop a feeling for that. The main thing that I did here was making it look like early morning thru Highlight adjustments.

@@Gavin_Haughey_Colorist I understand that this is not a guide but an example. Don't take it as a criticism, just e.g. at 4:00 you adjust the image to cold, but you don't tell (newbies) that you will use Primers and then highlight in the blue direction. We have to watch the video where what moves = whether a slider or a wheel. I use at least an arrow in the instructions (I'll add it in post-production) so that people know what's moving/what tool is being used Just take it as a tip, I enjoy watching your videos.
