My hair grows fast last April or 8 months ago I had around 12 inches of hair now I have almost 24 inches of hair my "secret" are - Drink LOTS of water - if your hair is damaged just cut off the really bad ends PLEASE (I did because if you don't your new length will just continue to split) - Don't over brush your hair - Sleep with it in a loose braid - Don't shampoo too much - Don't wear it up a lot - NO HEAT!!!!! Yeah that's it I also use coconut oil every like 1 to 2 weeks on my ends and a little on my scalp for a massage! ♥♥

My hair is currently mid-thigh length. My hair has always been long but over the years I've cut it from time to time between knee-length and waist length. However, I'm 70 now!!!! I have dyed my hair for years now...just the roots, Loreal. My hair is long and thick and people never guess I color it. Loreal holds its color so well! And again, only the roots need the color, thanks to Loreal. I saw an old pic of me with nearly knee-length hair at 18...my hair looks EXACTLY the same at 70! My point is: if you love long hair, don't think you have to cut it at a certain age. Be patient, the less you fuss with it the better...and enjoy :-) Nice video, beautiful woman!

No worries it's not hate! What have you found that works for curly hair? That way I can recommend it to my followers.
@jah74126 жыл бұрын
I've found that the Conair paddle brushes work well. They're strong enough to get through my hair but gentle enough as not to break it. However, it does brush out my curls quite a bit so they don't look as good. I do use a wide toothed comb for when I want to wear my hair out/down so my curls don't come out as waves. I also have a question about sulfates. Could they work well for really oily hair? I've found that if I use just a bit and really make sure to scrub my scalp it works okay but, I'm still not sure if it's all that great for my hair.

I don't think this works for everyone. I have friends that do all those things & can only grow their hair for 6inches a year. Then there's me who doesn't use any of these products or trim it every 2 weeks and my hair grows also 12inches a year. I think it depends on your genes. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
@qp49045 жыл бұрын
Absolutely true. Most stuff is just gimmicks. Hair growth mostly depends on genetics. The average hair growth is 6 inches per year. Some people cannot grow their hair past their shoulders, but the average max length is 2-3 feet I think. Healthy hair is more important than length. My hair is just over 3.5 feet. I don't do anything to it. Used to dye it yearly for many years but now it's too long. I never use any heat on it, only shampoo and condition twice a week with nothing fancy, don't brush wet (straight, fine hair). But I also have not had a cut in almost 2 years since my barber left and the others all refuse to cut it because I'm female (bad experiences with female hairdressers in the past many times). It has a lot of split ends so I'd like a foot off, but everyone always thinks it's healthy because it's shiny. My diet isn't good ha. Genetics.

@@KK-jl8em I'm not healthy at all though. But I know that's true for some people. It's kinda weird how some things like healthy food can effect your hair growth like that. Only for me it doesn't work, it's never been split at the ends or less shiny or less healthy, it's weird.

Use castor oil. I recommend a mixture of castor oil and coconut oil (because castor oil is really thick and sticky so it's hard to use on its own), heat it up and rub it on your roots (doing the inversion method, search it on KZbin cause its easier to understand) and length of the hair. Castor oil helps a lot with hair growth and coconut oil helps to moisturise hair like crazy, so you have hair growth and less slip ends. Do it like twice a week and leave it for 3/+ hours. Good luck

Cut off all the damage and focus on preventative measures, such as oil treatments on the lengths before shampooing to protect the hair from harsh chemicals, and good leave-in moisturizers afterwards. Try some gentle organic sulfate-free shampoos. Always wash your hair with lukewarm water, hot water is terrible for your hair. Also, style your hair in a way that would protect it (braids, buns, etc., just don't make it too tight, or you'll get traction alopecia. Remember, if you want nice hair, you gotta baby it.). Oil treatments on the scalp don't work for me personally (they make my hair fall out, ironic enough), but so many people swear by them, so give it a try. The only thing that works for me in terms of actually speeding up growth is vitamin supplements, my favourite is Perfectil, but you can find a variety of supplements for hair, skin and nails on the market (of course, do your research and talk to your doctor before taking any pills, don't just listen to strangers on the internet). I found that supplements improve not only the speed with which my hair grows, but also the texture. P.S.: and for God's sake, when will people realize that the advice to cut your hair every 6-8 weeks if you wanna grow it out is bullshit? You need a trim when you ned a trim. Point blank period. I can go for 6 months without getting split ends, cause I'm that meticulous with my hair care, why would I want to cut it more often than that?

Your hair looks so healthy, my hair used to be like down to my belly button, when I grew it out, then I cut it and it grew long again, and this summer I cut it to my shoulders, and now it’s not growing as fast as it used to, but I wanna grow it out again, so when I get my paycheck lol, I’ll try these products, especially the maui shampoo and conditioner because i’m allergic to sls so that sounds really good.💜

here's a few ideas for treating hair loss naturally Make sure you get sufficient vitamins (A,B6,B12,C, folic acid and biotin all help your hair) Apply rosemary essential oil and jojoba oil Do Not brush your hair too much Do Not wear tight hats or caps (I discovered these and the reasons they work on Fearons loss fixer website )

If that bamboo shampoo smells like their bamboo deep conditioner then I agree with you 110%. Their bamboo deep condition is one of the best smelling hair products I’ve ever smelled and the smell lingers. I also use it a a leave-in as per their instructions.…

I dont really do any special hair care. On the day of March 5, 2019 I cut my hair above my shoulders, because I was so obsessed with short hair. I didn't look good on me so I regretted it. Now it has been roughly 7 months and my hair has grown like 6 inches, past to where my bra strap is. I haven't been using heat products the last few months and my hair has been looking way healthier. If any of you are looking for healthier looking hair, dont use heat products, and if you're looking to style heatless, you can french/Dutch braid, or braid your hair at night, then take it out in the morning. There are plenty of options. I wash my hair every other day since i run and work out Tuesday-Friday. Something I never do is pay attention to the length of my hair. And I hear theorys that the less you pay attention to something, the more it improves. For example, if you sit and watch a plant grow everyday, you wont see any improvement, even though it is, you just dont see it. Like if you have a puppy or kitten you wont be able to tell their growing because you're so used to them. My point is, just dont check you hair lenghth every week or so, because when you will notice it changed if you pay less attenton :) and it will shock you because its grown so much after not thinking about the length! Idk, this is just how I think of things :)

I am curious what your recipe was for making the brown using Arctic Fox colors. I want something close to my natural that's semi-permanent, but that doesn't seem to exist! I went with demi-permanent last time and it turned out too dark and refuses to fade. I think my natural color is pretty similar to yours.

Love this video!! Very helpful because I have long hair that reaches my hips. it's hard to take care of, because I have very very frizzy hair. What worked for my frizzy hair was Treseme shampoo & conditioner with Keratin, Moroccan oil for after shower, and coconut oil before I go to sleep.

I cut my hair short two years ago to start all over because I color it way to much. Taste the rainbow. But I got pregnant and started taking prenatal pills for a whole year and I never use heat on it. I never blow dry or straightened it. Just air dry and put it on a bun. I use bun hair for my whole year. I only straightened my hair like a couple of times but hardly dont. Use 10 protected oil and deep condition with a mask and use warm heat Olive Oil. My hair grew fast. I been wanting to cut it but it look so nice long. Am lazy too. I braid my hair to create beach wavy hair but my hair gets natural curly. I have a lot of white hair so now i just do touch up and everything is natural.

My hair grows very fast because of Bondi boost. I wash 2-3 times a week, I use elixir oil and a hair growth mask once a week. I shaved my head 3 months ago and now it’s almost touching my ears after 3 months. I wash my hair in warm water every other day too. I am also a vegan and I can say it has helped my hair grow very healthy.

My hair has been ruined by a hair stylist. She put black hair dye in my already bleached hair from getting my black box dye out from a previous stylist then bleached my hair 4 times in a row. Costs me $340 to get it ruined. So I've just resorted to growing it out because nothing else is going to fix this fried mess.

Why do you cut your hair so often? Every two weeks? Love the blonde hair too. 🤓
@avahedlund51205 жыл бұрын
La Original it’s basically a trim. It’s good for your hair to cut it often. If you don’t cut it often if with get VERY split ends. A trim is small. :)

I think its bcs of the weather or sth bcs they say hot climates make hair and nails grow longer faster,its totally normal from where im from to grow that much hair. We dont really pay attention to the length more on the quality f the hair if it makes sense. Like i cut my hair 5 months ago really short like above shoulders and it has grown to right below my boobs

I don't get it cause people say that you can't wet your hair when its wet but then other people say you cant wet it when its dry so what do I do? 🥺 when I brush it dry I get brittle hair and a few split ends .. should I just do it when its damp? I'm just really confused

Easy way to know: If your hair is straight, only brush it when it's dry. If your hair is curly, only brush it when it's wet. :)

Black Women's hair can grow, it's all about internal(drinking plenty of water and eating healthy, good supplements) and external care(quality hair products). Moisturizing the hair is key(think about the jheri curl), deep conditioning/hot oil treatments are good, keep a clean scalp and clean strands, baby your ends, don't use harsh products and don't abuse heat and hair bleach.

Actually I'm black and my hair grew 10 inches in a year. My hair is 3c type fyi. And I lost someone and was depressed AF for most part of the year and my hair was the least of my problems. All I did was wash it wish clarifying shampoo every two weeks and I tie it up in a low sleek bun or high bun everytime. That was it. No combing in between, no hair masks, no biotin or stuff like that. Just no manipulation. And I didn't even do it on purpose. My hair never passed my boobs. And now it's very long waist/hip length. Now I'm happy and I go out a lot. No growth what so ever!😂
