I'm so glad you mentioned genetics in the first place, that plays a huge role in how our hair grows!! Very simple and yet some don't understand that.

That was a sizeable ball of shed. Try a green tea rinse weekly. That will help. Also as we age, our hair thins. Take a closer look at your crown. You are beautiful. So is your hair.
@librasun4 жыл бұрын
I also noticed that you routinely trimmed your ends. That helps in retaining length.

I've been going back and forth with the whole "silver fox " thing🤣🤣😆. Like you I've been gray at a young age😔😔. Since middle school!! 😌 I'm almost 40 now😳😂. I think its time to embrace what I've always known to be my fate.🥰🙏🏾🤷🏾♀️

I thought the picture of your mom was you! My hair is growing but I still have about a year before I’m happy with the length. I can do a high puff at this point since it’s about 6 inches at the longest areas.

Love love love your hair, love your tips. I’m just starting my curly hair journey, and I’m in the process of trying different products and different brushes to see what my hair likes. I have mixed texture hair and don’t know how to categorize it, so trial and error is my goal right now. Thanks for your video. It really clarify why my journey/products may be different from someone else’s. ❤

Genetics do play a major part in hair growth. Everybody in my family have thick hair. Our hair grows fast. Some of us cut it off and some will keep our hair long.

We have similar hair texture but still different I use loc method and lately I'm using my fav oil and water only and my hair loves it really! My grey's are naturally coming in beautifully. It will be 3 yrs natural no color or dyed or a relaxer. My hair loves to be brushed and I cannot get over my curls!

Hey Sam! Your hair obviously loves products that contain coconut oil. As you said, you have to listen to your hair. Everyone needs to find what works from them & develop their own regimen. I went through a *whole lot* of trial & error. People need to finally realize there's no one size fits all for guaranteed lengthy growth. By the way, I got real lazy with my steamer, not even sure where it is.😆

How do you embrace your hair?? I despise my grey I just recently turned 39 and been having grey since age 24 and mines are in the middle of my head. It started getting worse at the age of 35. I felt so insecure!! People would say that I have a young-looking face but I felt old because of the grey. But now I am actually relatively middle-aged so I have to learn on to embrace it!! Thanks for your courage to open up about your situation with your beautiful hair!! I too just did the big chop on my hair a couple of months ago!!

Great video. You have a beautiful head of hair😍. I watched this video and was like isn't she from Surinam? And you are😋. I also big chopped my hair in october 2018, also did a tapered cut🤣🤣. I had relaxed hair but wanted to return natural. I have also reached apl, and thought my hair grew a bit slow. Now I realise that is not the case. Thank you for the video about the gray hairs. Just yesterday I was like I am not ready for all these gray hairs. But you have inspired me to try and accept it. So thank you❤
